  1. I thought that the government was broke and shut down. So who paid for the use of these military jets, fuel, pilots, etc., for this pointless "flyover" for a stupid football game?

    1. Wake up bud. Those were all privately owned airplanes. The pilots bought their own gas.

    2. Troll... you do realize that the planes involved were privately owned, fueled, maintained prop planes....not military jets. Read the post, watch the video before you place your ignorance on display with another intellectually inept comment.

Don't worry, in the not so distant future, where we all live in Detroit, or, writ large South Africa, there won't be anyone to fly those jets.

  3. Maybe Aonzo, when he isn't with his family of 9 children and 7 babt mamas, throwing dogs off of over passes will teach his kids to fly.

  5. Jesus Christ. They were from KC Flight which is a flight school, how is this a salute to the military industrial complex? Using Cessnas? What war are we fighting where we are using Cessnas? The war against the slow moving people of 1932?

  6. Not only were they privately owned planes flown from 17 different states to participate, with gas paid for by their owners, each of those pilots had some type of link to breast cancer, having lost someone or having a wife going through treatments now. That's why they trailed the pink smoke. AND they raised $25,000 which was donated to KU Cancer Center for research. I can't stand bitter people who speak out against others who ARE trying to make a difference.

  8. You're right. Guess it was just the "pointless flyover" comment, when it really wasn't pointless at all.
