DOC WHEELER HOUSE SOLD ON JACKSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE STEPS FOR $399K!!!

Kansas City Insiders told us FIRST about moving day coming up for Doc Wheeler after mortgage trouble . . .

And now it is reality.

Yesterday Doc Wheelers house was purchased on the steps of the Jackson County Courthouse for the rather sweet prices of $399K which was exactly the apprised value. James B Nutter & Co. brokered the deal for an out of down company which makes sense given that they've held the note on it.

There's lots of blame to go around here amid more than enough media manipulation . . .

Only cruel anony TKC commenters throw arrows @ Doc Wheeler but then again this kinda put his constant political runs in another perspective.

Either way . . . The reality here is that a lifetime of public service isn't enough to assure a home in the Golden Years for even one of Kansas City's top politicos.

  2. Maybe with the exception of Bartle, Wheeler was the best mayor this shithole has ever had.

  3. I loved it when Chalrie Wheeler sued KCMO to take their tower with them over to JoCo when they moved onto Shawnee Mission Drive and out of KC.

He was always worth a quote and I though he was a good mayor.

By the way, on a more serious note, I read that DMX is down to 40.00 and will be on Dr. Phil today to discuss his problems.

Should be must see TV for all the chickens.

DMX revealed he has 11 children and one moe on the way.
I'd say this country is pretty much beyond repair at this point.

  10. Reverse mortgages should almost never be used. Along with student loans they will be the next financial train wreck.

  12. Tony, it's common for the holder of the note to bid the amount of the mortgage on a foreclosure. Unfortunate that they lost a house they've lived in for over 40 years.

  13. You know we're living in the end of time when an affluent white man can't save his own house. The good old boy network is kaput.

Most people are not disciplined enough or have the moral character to have a reverse mortgage. Once you get that lump sum of money, most people go "nigger rich" and spend it all on things they WANT but don't necessarily NEED. Instead of spending wisely and stretching it out for the rest of their lives AND having a place to live. It's not the reverse mortgage that drives people out, it's their own fault for not being wise enough to handle the money.

  15. I heard Mike Sanders is the real buyer. He wants some digs in KC to run for Mayor. Nutter gave him a sweet deal and plans to kick start his campaign.

  16. Pals my ass CG if such good friends why didn't you all reach out and help Ole Charlie.

More Glazer bullshit suck off of somebody who really did something in their life.

That may be the case, but that house is going to need $100k+ in repairs.

  18. Was he a hoarder?

  19. Nutter is still bailing the old geezer out. Charlie was in way over his head and thought he could slide because he used to be mayor. He probably thought if Cleaver doesn't have to pay his bills why should he.
