ReplyDeleteThis is a bit of bad planning. The 9th Inning was a really good and needed establishment. It's demise is indicative of bad public planning or the lack thereof. Virtually, the entire district is City owned and that is bad for business for many reasons. It's too bad that this business owner had to learn the hard way. He worked, kept the place attractive and it was nice, if for only a moment, to have a quality restaurant in the urban core. Thank your public officials for this. Since they've torn down so many houses in the surrounding community, the economy can not recover because they don't seem to know the basics of what economic development really entails. Vote in better representatives next time.
