Kansas City Gangsters Are Moving Through Revolving Jailhouse Door, So Maybe It's Time To Find A New Jackson County Prosecutor?!?!
Earlier this week KCTV5 produced a GROUNDBREAKING STORY ON A SOUTH KANSAS CITY RAMPAGE COMMITTED BY A REPEAT OFFENDER AND REPUTED KANSAS CITY GANGSTER.
This morning The Star follows up and reports some of the same details . . .

More to the point and according to cops, local merchants, community activists and just about everybody interested in Kansas City . . .
RIGHT NOW LOCALS CONCERNED ABOUT CRIME FEAR THAT JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR JEAN PETERS BAKER IS MORE CONCERNED WITH POLITICS THAN PUTTING GANGSTERS BEHIND BARS!!!
Many argue that "Mean Jean" and her focus on the political has helped to create a revolving door prison system for some of this town's most violent and dangerous offenders . . .
Sure . . .
Mean Jean Peters Baker was the 1st prosecutor in the nation to successfully charge a Catholic priest for failure to report sex abuse . . . But it's not priests who are out on local streets shooting people.
And let's not forget that Mean Jean spent most of the second half of 2012 campaigning for Claire McCaskill.
Sadly, in Kansas City it's considered sacrilege to question the effectiveness of any elected officials and columnists are now powerless to do anything but regurgitate talking points from political parties for fear of losing their dwindling paycheck.
Accordingly . . .
I'm trying to be as respectful as possible . . . And hoping that the people who actually run elections in Kansas City (i.e. donors and Democratic elite) might think about finding a replacement for "Mean Jean" Peters Baker so she can go back to chasing a political office that's less important.
It's nothing personal, Ms. Peters Baker is probably one of the nicest people in all of Kansas City and the story of her activism and dedication to the public interest is really inspiring . . . But that doesn't make her a good prosecutor.
And the request is to power brokers and not clueless voters because the way politics works in Kansas City and Jackson County is tragically corrupt and broken but still has a bit of logic to it . . . The Democratic elite pick the prosecutor long before any sham election is ever conducted. A candidate has to kiss all the right rings and promise to uphold the party line when called to do so. Like it or not, that's the way it works and it doesn't look to be changing any time soon. Nevertheless, local elite must realize that sometimes their patronage puts ALL OF OUR LIVES AT RISK.
Sadly . . . Just look at the story of this reputed gangster and Kansas City's current murder rate to see that "Mean Jean" simply isn't effective and this town's power brokers should do the rest of us a public service by finding a new candidate for the job.

Make it a point to see he is out of the limelight since he serves no purpose on anyone's life and adds nothing of value to KC or the people in it. Mean Jean/Craig Glazer/Sly James a trio of people who KC would do better with out. Tony you ever ask how many people who are poor not to bright maybe who week end and week out lose money trying to sports bet on what Craig says just because you promote him here as being a great guy who never loses? By doing so you are selling false hope to these people. From all you dislike about this town the selling of false hope do seem to be an issue you take a great disliking to.
This isn't just the county. It is a problem when elected officials tout crime reduction programs and in the background crooks actually OWN the system. They walk out on the street damn near faster than they went into the system. Until the lips and actions are in sync these anti violence speeches are just plain bullshit.

ReplyDeleteThis may have more to do with Missouri's experiment in which judges are instructed to consider the cost of incarceration vs. the cost of probation. While incarceration may cost $17,000+ a year, probation is $7,000 a year.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, judges have taken this experiment to such extremes as to render prosecutors efforts nearly void of any real consequences for crimes committed in any given cases tried by any given prosecutors.
So, if you're wondering what in the hell is going on with the current Missouri sentencing practices, then do a little more research. You may find yourself forming a very different opinion about the way prosecutors conduct business.
Or, maybe not. Nevertheless, it's worth researching and reading.

ReplyDeleteWhen your priority is schmoozing with the political elite, the cousins, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts and illegitimate children of these folks get a special pass through the County and local jails. Once its known that Mayor's brother, son, et al was involved in the unlawful act, they must be released or the sentences reduced to a slap on the wrist. This is the revolving door. Kansas City is so small that there is less than six degrees of separation. Everybody covers for everybody else. Jean Peters is as worthless as a two dollar whore. You'll usually leave infected with something or come out worse than you were before you had to deal with her.

Case went to the prosecution.We had every theraptist, teacher,family, forensic examiner,and a signed civil stipulation by their very own father who committed these hedious crimes.In the stipulation were graphic details of the sexual acts.He willingly signed it and gave up all parental rights.He knew the courts would not harm him.He was right! He remains free! Prosecution said they have no doubt to his guilt but without pictures or tapes the case would not stand up to the grand jury!! This man has remarried and has a one year old daughter and two step children.Even better he plays in the church band and does videography for churches spreading God's word.Nice work Jean.If it had been any of the prosecutors children.I wonder what the outcome would have been. We are a large family made up of nurses, teachers, doctor's , preachers and lawyer's!!!!! I will continue to get my story out in hopes it will give insight into this predators nature.In return giving heads up to those families with children around him. I wish someone had been brave enough to warn us!!!

Do you think we are winning the war of child pornography? Are the predators who download child porn as guilty as the ones who make child porn? What is the difference? Is their really a judicial law that holds these predators accountibilty? Should money be any reason ever to be one of the factors that sways a judge or prosecutor's decision to hold these hedious perverted predators accountable??? What if it was your child??? What is the road of recovery like for these children??? Can you ever trust a child molester again? Isn't crossing that line a point of no return? Is their anything worse? Where does that put the importance of child abuse really at with Jean Peters Baker??? Our case has sat in the prosecutor's office since May of 2011! Does this so called ELITE group not think their children are not at risk????Are they not aware of the typical child molester's profile?With all the vast advantages the ELITE posses!!
