ReplyDeleteI heard a preacher on television explaining to his flock that they shouldn't follow the teachings of Jesus, because Jesus was a Jew. They should follow the teachings of Paul because, in their minds, he was the first Christian.
ReplyDeleteAnon 9:20, why are you such an asshole. Reading the comments on this blog you would mistakenly believe that at least 80% of the population were Rethuglicans, instead of the reality of the dwindling power & numbers of the angry white man.
The answer to the question is because there are hundreds if not thousands of religions and humanity will not hesitate to create another one if they cant find a god who does things to suit them. Everyone wants to decide what God wants and, of course, leaders of the churches are in perfect sync with God's will. In the mean time they all try to control people through sex rules and money. They think wine was grape juice and sprinkling isn't baptism and some are accused of worshiping idols. All of these critically stupid differences are probably why most of the world has already gone to hell. I can't help but imagine God looking down saying, "How can you stupid fucks take a plan that is so simple and turn it into a total clusterfuck"
