On the bright side, local football watchers might want to thank their lucky stars that there has never been a DUI checkpoint at the stadium near when the game lets out given that it's basically a drunk drag racing site.

Uhh,yes they actually did have a checkpoint on I70 yrs back, late. 90s maybe. Anyway, there was so much hell raised,media,all the news channels egged it on. Never happened again.

I remember. It may have even been a Monday night game. Everybody was bitching, they had to work the next day,and it was already late.

Chiefs fired the traffic / parking staff after the 2010 season because the almighty Premier Parking undercut the $$$ the Chiefs were payin their own traffic staff with 30+ years of experience on the streets at the complex. Thoise guys knew their shit and the fan came first. Go ask Mark Donovan and the new Operations VP Mr. David Young why he caved to the dollar (Clark) and not only fired the non-profits in the parking lots raising money for their cause, but also the Traffic staff that knew how to dump 22,000 cars off the property in less than 70 minutes. When Lamar died, it all went to shit in a heartbeat. Fuck em - they get what they deserve.
ReplyDeleteI used to work Chiefs parking during college. Those lazy fucking niggers with the 'nonprofits' were the worst. They would show up, or not at all and would literally hide in the portopotties so they didn't have to do the oh-so-difficult job of directing traffic.

One of the problems with the Cowboys game was that the Chiefs allowed a couple of thousand cars in to tale gate when they didn't even have tickets to the game. Many people who had tickets to the game were diverted to other parking lots and they were pissed. The Chiefs should take care of their fans in the stadium over the tail gate folks.
