Once again Kansas City's elected leaders reject any kind of transparency or questions about their EXPENSIVE work . . .
KC mayor says No to state auditor's request to audit water department
The request for the audit came after a controversial $12 MILLION NO-BID EMERGENCY CONTRACT was rammed through by Mayor and Council. Two remaining options for the audit include a request from the Governor or a petition with about 35k signatures.

your surprised? the mayor and the council are laughing at the people, the Governor needs to step in and demand an audit if he doesnt he wont be getting my vote
ReplyDeleteNobody polled me
ReplyDeletewhere do i signed the petition for the audit
ReplyDeleteneed to recall the whole bunch council and mayor
How the Hell do you refuse an audit? This fucker thinks he is above the law! How long KC, how long???
ReplyDeleteYeah, how do you refuse the State's request to do an audit? Governor Jay, you'd better be authorizing this. This silver-back gorilla is fucking amazingly stupid if he thinks that the KC residents are going to lie down on this one.
ReplyDeleteGod, I hate Sly James.
When you have everything to loose you decline an audit. This ain't rocket science.
ReplyDeleteHere is your chance KC to shove it down the throats of these clowns.
ReplyDeleteGet on the phone to the Gov and sign the petition.
Where does one go to sign the petition, and how does one go about going out in the community to get signatures on this petition, this is our chance to expose the corrupt local government and this would just be the tip of the iceberg!!!! Watch out KCFD your audit will be next!!
ReplyDeletePetition rules &reqs can be found at www.auditor.mo.gov/auditinfo/petition.aspx
DeleteTo be successful, the petition must have 10,478 registered voter signatures. Partnering with a voter registration drive would be the easiest way to accomplish that.
Contact the governor at this web page and ask him for an audit.

He can do that?
ReplyDeletefuck you mafia mother fuckers
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link 9:41. I just left my request for an audit with the Governor using your link. We need transparency in government.
ReplyDeletewe sure did
ReplyDeleteThe governor asking for an audit is the only way to stop this corruption in Kansas City. Sly has been such a disappointment.
ReplyDeleteJay is the only hope - but he won't do it. So it leaves a very fertile ground for the Republicans coming up.
ReplyDeleteLet's get to circulating the petition to collect 35K signatures. I will sign! Who will help?
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love privatization
ReplyDeleteFire Terry Leeds and Troy Shitty.
