"Our Mayor spent 15 minutes at a local booze store last night, picking out an expensive bottle of wine. My friend was the clerk. When he FINALLY checked out, the card was declined! Not really breaking news, but hilarious."
Now, remember that the Greater Kansas City Area has many Mayors. Guess which one has a penchant for pricey booze and problems with a realistic view of credit.
