TECH FACT: KANSAS CITY AREA POLICE MONITORING TWITTER BAD JOKES!!!

Sadly, so many Internets authors can't appropriately convey irony within the context of their social media messaging.

Therefore . . .

It's important for kids of all ages to be careful when making bad jokes online, given that police are watching.

‘Joke’ tweet about drugs catches attention of local police

Money line:

It started with a tweet of a photo of twenty dollar bills laid out on the floor with the words "drug business really taking off." A retweet looped in the account for Kansas City Police, then Olathe police, who responded with the words "information received."

Accordingly, social media users shouldn't expect the po-po to have a sense of humor as marketers and spying from authorities hold back American tech advances.

  2. So the police sit in front of gardening stores and monitor twitter. All they need do is watch any urban street corner at night and they can see all kinds of real drug dealing.

  4. While the police are busy sitting at their computers reading twitter, stopping the real serious crimes, they might want to brush on their Bill of Rights a little bit. Just search Google for a link.
