Okay, admittedly, that post title is PROBABLY a bit to heavy handed . . . However, this story from Meth Town reveals a very real and frightening example that racism thrives throughout the metro:
Two defendants plead guilty in Independence hate crime case -
"Logan J. Smith 25, and Victoria A. Cheek Herrera, 34, each pleaded guilty to violating the civil rights of an African American family in Independence by setting fire to its home and intimidating its members with with Nazi slogans and symbols. Smith and Cheek Herrera admitted that they conspired to violate the rights of the family to live in a rented home in the 600 block of South Arlington Avenue.
Smith admitted that Cheek Herrera helped draw a swastika on his head and that he yelled “White Power” and made “Heil Hitler” gestures at the home. The two drew a swastika and wrote “White Power” on the driveway. They then made a crude gasoline firebomb and threw it against the house . . ."
Luckily there was very little property damage and nobody was permanently injured BUT the story offers a reality check for any one who might suggest we're living in a post-racial society.

Even though I disagreed with Mark Smith Clone once, I've learned that I can wait for Mark Smith or Mark Smith Clone to say something racist and then chiming in to agree. It doesn't bother me that not a one of us has a single answer or solution to any problem that's facing our city or country or the world. We don't have to. We're white. Instead, we see Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder, the Congressional Black Caucus, the NAACP, the New Black Panthers and even Barack Obama rushing to judgment in the Martin—Zimmerman matter and forming their own rabid mob, almost literally, to impose vigilante vengeance upon Zimmerman.
