NEWSFLASH!!! WILL ROYSTER IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT WHEN HE WHINES THAT NOBODY CARES ABOUT HIS STORY!!!

Late breaking news on a three-year-old election with less than a few thousand voters in an otherwise politically neglected Kansas City neighborhood.

Here is the Pitch dedicating a few thousand words to yet another frustrated white guy whining about minority voting in the urban core in a years-old election

Credit where it's due . . . The story is well written and covers most of the low points from Royster's perspective. Throughout the piece Royster complains that nobody will take his side but the fact is that he's generated more publicity than any other Missouri House Rep. candidate in a pointless crusade.

Also, I always thought it was shameful that Royster worked with conspiracy theorist Jack Cashill in comparing the Somalis in his district to terrorists.

Still, this saga has jumped the shark long ago and Royster is in no position to run again . . . His current volley of complaints is simply one of many long standing gripes that comes off more like sour grapes.

An important correction before I go do something more fun:

The article notes Rep. John Rizzo's father is a Jackson County Legislator. That's not correct and the error was used in a passage to suggest a conspiracy in the appointment of Jackson County Judge W. Stephen Nixon to a County Counselor gig following the race . . . Fact Check: Judge Nixon was appointed as County Counselor in October and the primary was held in August - Long, long after Royster lost the 2010 election that still haunts him to this day.

After the election, given that John Rizzo's dad lost a close race to "reformer" Crystal Williams . . . Suggesting a conspiracy is a stretch given that the outgoing elected official probably didn't have much influence over the County Executive and the entire JaxCo legislature which had to approve the appointment. And yet again, it's THAT kind of wild speculation and easily mythbusted attack which is typical of Will Royster's endless litany of complaints.

Now, I've written about this thing so much, I'm totally tired of the subject . . . If late night readers feel like they want a morning post on the topic . . . Please suggest an interesting angle beyond the typical Internets trolling that follows every single item related to Will Royster's ruined Kansas City political career.

  1. Tony, just come out and say it: you're ok with voter fraud and stealing an election if your guy wins.

    Shameful bro.

  2. at least Royster isn't wearing that stupid hat. Maybe his is learning.

  3. What does Royster do for a living?

  4. Really Byron? You worthless POS. What do you do? Nothing!!!

I heard he was on disability ..

    1. Google, Will Royster KCMO, & see what pops up.
I'm not sure what Royster does for a living. But, I think he's definitely ahead of the times because he was brawling on the Plaza long before brawling on the Plaza was cool...or something like that.

  7. Sorry Tony, but Nixon did not get the appointment until Dec. Call and get a copy of his very lucrative contract with Jackson County.

    ReplyDelete
  8. So that's even further after the primary when Rizzo Sr. had even less influence. Isn't that the point?

And the Star reports it in October:

    http://midwestdemocracy.com/articles/retiring-jackson-county-judge-will-be-countys-new-counselor/

So this only proves that Royster's conspiracy theory is even more out of wack.

  9. That report was dated: Oct. 3 2010

  10. John Rizzo is quoted as admitting how bad Judge Nixon's appointment looked, coming only two weeks after he ruled in favor of Rizzo. Yes, the Then Chair of the County Legislature, who has influence over Judge Nixon's Court budget....no conflict of interest there, is there?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Once again, Tony charges ahead to deflect, defend, and deny on Johnny Joe's behalf. The only thing that's old about this growing story is Tony's entrenchment as a Rizzo pawn.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Amazing that Tony STILL won't admit that Rizzo conspired in the biggest vote fraud in recent Missouri history.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Royster does Currency Arbitrage and Litigation Finance. He also is a whistle-blower on corrupted public elections and politicos.

Fact check your fact check - Nixon was appointed to the most lucrative and lengthy County Counsellor position in history, only two weeks after he ruled for Henry Rizzo's kid. Henry was still JaCo Legislative Chair at the time the deal was cut. All the evidence in public records shows that election judges confirmed everything Royster all edged. Nixon ignored the evidence of fraud and then ruled that Royster had no evidence of fraud. Classic set-up and Pay-off.

  15. The real culprit is the Election Board. Those people are hiding something that they don't want to investigate. Jackson County Legislature partially funds the KC Election Board, too. Henry Rizzo was aware of his son's election results before anyone else was, so he had at least one mole inside KC Elections.

  16. Why hasn't the Secretary of State said anything, since he certified the election?

    ReplyDelete
  17. The JaCo legislative chair as a lame duck at the time and the secretary of state has changed since that time too.

Carnahan was never going to come to Will's defense because the guy is a horrible democrat. Kander doesn't care about Jackson County, he's going to be a Senator some day soon. Will is too old to be just be learning that politics is corrupt. He comes off very naive in this article.

  18. I think Royster's hat is sexy. Way more sexy that that ghetto hoodie Rizzo was wearing in legislative session. Does Rizzo represent the east side hoodies, or the northland? He sure doesn't represent the northeast.

    ReplyDelete
  19. October long after August? LOL! Henry Rizzo still was Chair then and still approved appointment of Nixon to County Counselor.Nixon wouldn't take Rizzo v Burnett due to conflict but he took Rizzo v Royster?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I like that Royster gets into fights. He seems to care about his neighborhood and he must be a smart guy - who isn't a pussy. Rizzo seems like a limp noodle in a wet paper bag - he needs everyone else to hold him up. I believe Royster. Too bad none of our tax-paid people did their jobs and corrected the situation.

  21. Mike Sanders wouldn't return calls to The Pitch because he was part of the "Inside Baseball" politics that influenced the Election Board to keep quiet on Rizzo's relatives, so Rizzo could steal that election.

  22. Spyke, I found a site that said he had a service related disability. What I had read earlier said it was PTSD. That would explain the 'not letting go'. He's very educated with a military record that anyone would be proud of.

P.S. I do remember who you are, & I am grateful for your continued good will. Thanks.

  23. Voter fraud built the Democrat Party.

  24. Byron the Fake Funkhouser, one thing Royster doesn't do is impersonate family members of ex-mayors of KCMO as an excuse to troll blogs rather than get a job. I'm sure Royster is more productive than you, living in your world of fakery.

  25. TONY IS A MEXICAN PAWN FOR ITALIAN SCUM8/14/13, 3:48 PM

TKC will do anything to try to deflect sleepy media attention from how this three year old story keeps gaining traction, and keeps getting more substantiated, and keeps getting deeper into details that entrenched politicians and their bitches (like Tony) don't want the public to know about.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Mildly interesting, mildly. But if Royster's friends don't care, why should anybody else?

  27. Anon 12:34

I'm still waiting for you to tell me what your problem is. How did you come to this ridiculous conclusion? Intuition? Of course, you won't answer me, you're just a stupid troll. You're no better than the guy who pretends to be me & makes gay comments. His problem is that I publicly support gay rights, what's your problem?

    ReplyDelete
  28. At least Byron admits he's gay - John Rizzo IS gay, but went to disgustingly extreme measures to deny it (his fake wedding to Lindsay, for example). Rizzo is a creepy hypocrite.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Jackson County will continue to be butt-fucked by all the many people who helped Rizzo cheat his way into a legislative seat. Mike Sanders, Victor Callahan, Scott Burnett, and Dan Tarwater were the people who most feared a reformer like Royster getting into Jackson County politics. The lower level losers like Steve Nixon and the idiots at the Election Board all just want handouts in exchange for their prostitution. The Feds need to keep up the heat on the Election Board and its connections to the County.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Those gay comments are from a troll pretending to be me. I thought that most people would know the difference. I support equal rights for gays. I have gay friends & gay relatives & I don't want them to be bullied for it. That is all.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Byron, how often have you and John Rizzo had sex? Does Lindsay know about you two and just not care?

    ReplyDelete
  32. This vote fraud is an outrage and a bad trend for KC. This is like third world mob rule. Tony, why are you so opposed to Royster and his efforts to clean up Kansas City's political mess?

    ReplyDelete
  33. The election hearings went on til October, correct? Didn't Henry Rizzo confirm the appointment of Nixon? Yes he did. Wasn't that for County Counselor, a position that demands he work daily with Henry? Yes it was.

Didn't it give Nixon a second pension? Yes it did.

Didn't Nixon step away from working on Rizzo v Burnett because of his interest with Henry? Yes he did. So why not the same here?

Grow a pair Kansas City democratic officials . You're short sighted and pathetic.
