MISSOURI 'OBAMA MASK' RODEO CLOWN HOT MESS WINNERS AND LOSERS!!!

This week the most contentious political debate in all of the nation focused on the antics of a Missouri rodeo clown.

Accordingly . . .

CHECK THIS QUICK LIST OF WINNERS AND LOSERS IN THE DEBATE OVER THE "OBAMA MASK" RODEO CLOWN!!!

Winners

Dead Tree Media - Like it or not, our local fish wrap earned TONS of comments and visits to their website that mostly serves as a media outlet for Nebraska Furniture Mart. More than any "investigation" or reporting . . . Picking up a social media story regarding a Saturday Night rodeo skit boosted user interaction for the newspaper.

Sensitivity Trainers - Who knew that clown colleges represented a growing market for sensitivity training? Apparently, there is a politically correct way to spray seltzer water or throw a pie to the face.

Any Politico Who Decided To Avoid The Topic - The smart thing to do was to let this thing blow over . . . Politicos participating in the phony controversy mostly seemed desperate and elected officials with enough discipline to avoid the culture war clearly made the wise choice over a non-issue.

Losers

Missouri House Rep. Jeremy LaFaver - Louder than any Kansas City politico . . . LaFaver boycotted and whined and mugged for media coverage as loudly as possible. This blundering politico from the corridor was touted as an advocate for children but his string of missteps make him seem like nothing more than an amateur. Any Democrat with even a bit of ambition in the Ward Parkway Corridor would be smart to challenge one of the weakest elected officials in all of Kansas City.

Civil Rights - There was the widespread argument that this was a racist stunt. That might be correct but Kansas City Crime Fighter Activist Alonzo Washington is correct when he notes that few African-Americans were asked to weigh in on the subject. And so, Civil Rights takes a hit when racism is invoked but people of color aren't even invited to take part in the discussion and white politicos argue on the behalf of a community but without consent.

Reactionary Conservative Rage - Yes, the rodeo clown rage was silly but the answer to it was not an equal amount of rage against Democrats and bringing up old school angst against Prez W. The real outrage here is that so many were inspired by a rodeo clown and a circular argument whose parody is more appropriate . . . Flashback: Bush Dummies were used at a rodeo.

The Dixie Chicks - Their career was essentially ruined by a casual throwaway line and their strange episode comes to mind when considering a rodeo clown banned for life from the Missouri State Fair.

Dead Tree Media - By picking up and running with this non-event . . . Kansas City's Paper-Of-Record proved to be nothing more than a local partisan media outlet like the Huff Post or The Blaze but with a legacy media money losing paper edition to update as well.

  4. There was tricky dick... we were relentless with the movies and new papers including the new york times with that .. there was one of the best and should be mentioned ... my friend and yours from Mad Magazine Alfred E Newman which will live forever in my mind as Bush Jr. I cant look at him without smiling and thinking of Mad when I see Bush but our 1st black president? a man voted in just to prove a point ... you cant make fun of him without being banned for life from something? We havent had a decent president since Roosevelt and this country has suffered at the hands of political welfare recipients who wouldnt know what to do with themselves if it werent for politics .. ask this city council ... things as they are stand as the biggest joke played not on the politicians of this country but its citizens ... I'm ashamed and hope that we vote EVERY siongle incumbent out of office in the next election

  15. Jefferson Davis8/14/13, 10:02 PM

There was nothing racist in the Confederacy, we only cared about states' rights to ensure White Supremacy.

  16. Byron is still a faggot asshole.

  18. I don't think it was racially motivated, but I object to Missouri taxpayer money being spent on the expression of ANYONE'S political views. You can't legislate good taste or appropriate manners, but you sure as heck can legislate how tax money is spent. And I'm glad my grandchildren weren't exposed to the festivities.

The people citizens of Missouri WON! Liberals, phoney politicians, and lovers of the nigger in chief LOST!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Exactly, Jefferson Davis. And the Civil War had nothing to do with slavery either.

It was all about the states' rights to enact laws that provided plantation owners with free labor to plant and harvest their cotton crops.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yep, thanks to Tony for allowing free speech on each and every article you write, unlike The Star which only allows comments on articles where they think opinion will be in their favor.

Has anyone noticed that the so-called paywall doesn't exist on their website anymore?
