Listening to talk radio I was surprised to hear some of the most inept, silly and nearly incomprehensible reasoning this side of another local tax increase on the subject of an impending U.S. attack on Syria.
NBC: Military strikes on Syria 'as early as Thursday,' US officials say
Seriously, there's no doubt the locals are lost on this subject. Frankly, TKC isn't sure what to think about yet another Mideast adventure for the military. However, war is good for the economy and if this thing spirals out of control, I'm sure somebody somewhere decided that the ranks of the millennials needed to be thinned out a bit. . . Any other justification for the upcoming bombing is probably just propaganda and maybe not as important as the fact that gas prices are getting ready to spike in this cowtown overnight.
Developing . . .
Shut up TKC.
ReplyDeleteCandlelight vigil @ J.C. Nichols fountain is totally going to stop this mess.
If corporate fraud is growin', bomb Syria.
ReplyDeleteIf your ties to it are showin', bomb Syria.
If your politics are sleazy,
And hiding that ain’t easy,
And your manhood’s getting queasy,
Bomb Syria.
Russia says West acting in Muslim world like 'monkey with grenade'
ReplyDeleteWar all the time!
ReplyDeleteWar Porn is back.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can build Syria a Toy Train that will fix everything.
ReplyDeletewhat talk radio show was supporting a strike on syria? did u actually listen to one or just assume this, all i have heard is almost 100% public disapproval for a strike from leftest and conservatives on radio
ReplyDeleteSo prepare, and bring “a large bottle of Advil,” Janet Napolitano told her yet-to-be-named replacement in a farewell address Tuesday morning.

ReplyDeleteWhere is all the young hipster outrage?
ReplyDeleteYES WE CAN!
ReplyDeleteShock and Awe Part 2.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of it which TV stations will be carrying the war, I mean show? Armchair generals need to know.
ReplyDeleteEverything is indicating Obama may start a war attacking Syria BEFORE Congress returns.
ReplyDeleteObama needs a war and the mainstream press is lined up goose-stepping to whatever the Obama Administration dictates.
ReplyDeleteWe're about out of Afghanistan and perilously close to being a country without a war and we can't have that. After all, some our politicians largest campaign contributors rely on the military industrial complex. And let me beat you to the punch. That statement can be hung around the necks of both of our worthless parties.
ReplyDeleteSend Glazer over there to write stories. I guarantee you those fuckers be offing themselves right n left to not have to read his shit.
ReplyDeleteThinking about signing up.I need a job.
ReplyDeleteIt is a crime we are not now, pulling enough oil out of the Dakotas to bring gas prices down to 1.25 a gallon. We are loaded with energy up there and we sure as hell do NOT wanna get involved in ANY way with those crazy fucks in Syria, or any where over there.
ReplyDeleteThe Iraq war was a galactic and I mean galactic blunder in the true sense of the word. Bush established Iranian-Shiite hegamony throughout the middle east by usurping the Sunni strength in Iraq.
God what a fuck up. It is hard to get your arms around how much blow back there was from that ill advised imperialistic horse shit adventure.
If that fuckin puke piece of shit, the Ayatollah Khomeini, came back to life, he would be gobsmacked by the results of our stupidity. We achieved, for him, every thing he hoped to achieve in his life time that on his death bed, he had to believe was lost.
The vagaries of war are not just unforgiving, they are unrepentent executioners of those so imbued with hubris as to embark on such foolish missions.
FUCK NO!!!!! We do NOT need any conflict with Syria, no matter who wins. If chemical weapons are used to kill off half the country, Obama should do what he does best, play golf.
It is what it is.
+4409 (the number of dead American soldiers in Operation Iraqi Freedom)
DeleteChuck the shale oil boom is as much smoke and mirrors as the war in Syria

ReplyDelete8:50pm, hipsters dont have a clue what goes on in the world. They get a few talking points from MSNBC, if that.
ReplyDeleteThey are caught up in their own world of irony.
You should Youtube a video called "fuck you hipsters" a musical parody that is spot on.
Glad to see your lack of enthusiasm for the war TKC. No need to sell this one, seems to be decided already.
ReplyDeleteCan anyone tell me how much the army would pay me to kill people?
ReplyDelete9:31, not enough.
ReplyDeleteChuck, you mean there's a difference between Sunni and Shiite? "I thought they were all Muslim."- George W. Bush.
ReplyDeleteabout 50 cents an hour
ReplyDeletebut you have to wait in line to kill because the psycho's have already enlisted
Hey all you libs, so much for a party of peace.
ReplyDeleteIs Russia calling Obama a monkey? Well, if so, he's a monkey with access to much more than a grenade.
ReplyDelete100,000 have been killed in Syria in the last 30 months, we did nothing. Now we are going to lob missiles over a few hundred deaths. We dont even know if it was the regime, the rebels, iran, etc. etc. We get out of two wars we should never have started and it's time to stir up the jihad hornets nest. On the bright side, our interference has done wonders in Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, or any middle eastern shit hole of your choosing. Its almost like Obama and Lurch want to see Israel attacked in retaliation as promised by Iran and Syria. Im waiting for the leftists who called Bush and Cheney war criminals, to rise up and do likewise with Barry O.Wont happen. Bush was a fool to invade Iraq, and Obama is his equal in that respect.
ReplyDeleteObama is being manipulated by cavemen who think The Flintstones cartoon is a documentary.
ReplyDeletefuck the libs and fuck the neocons
ReplyDeletea lot of us out here didn't vote for any of those pricks
fuck the war and fuck the peace

ReplyDeleteA tough call, no matter what, there's going to be nothing but complaining. Don't look for an easy way out of this one.
ReplyDeleteThe sheeple say:
ReplyDeleteYes sir, Mr. President, it's them foreigners who hate our way of life!! They just insist on crossing your RED line!!! It's time to rally round the flag and chant USA, USA, USA!!!
The people say:
Excuse me, but so far we've been presented NO evidence that a chemical attack was conducted by the forces loyal to Assad. In fact, the timeline would suggest that it was not in their best interest to use chemical weapons just as the West was pointing fingers.
Does anyone remember the reason given for invading/occupying Iraq? Wasn't it a carefully crafted propaganda false message about weapons of mass destruction (which were never found)? Recall all the Bush Administration leaders warning that we can't wait for the "mushroom cloud"!
And wasn't it the Reagan Administration which tacitly approved of our then Iraqi buddy Saddam Hussein's use of mustard gas and sarin against the Iranians in their 10-yr. war? Oops....we're not supposed to remember that or bring it up for review!
SYRIA is your ENEMY, the evil-doers must be punished! WAR IS PEACE!!
The great and powerful OZ has spoken.....pay no attention to that small coward of a man behind the curtain.
Israel says, "fuck Syria," and it will be done as it has been done for centuries. Except in a much more decicive fashion. To what end in the region!
ReplyDeleteYour either with us or your against us!
ReplyDeleteThe Wall Street Journal had an interesting article yesterday on the situation in Syria. It's at

There are many sides to the war in Syria, but it is a civil war that we need to stay out of. It's no-win for us.
Watch for this administration to blame Bush, again.
ReplyDeleteSo libs tell me the difference between this Nimrod and Bush.
