Another sign that biz on the Plaza isn't so sweet for merchants . . .
Kansas City police are investigating the Tuesday night robbery of a Country Club Plaza ice cream store.
"Employees of the Cold Stone Creamery at 114 W. 47th St. were cleaning up the closed business just after 10 p.m. when a masked robber sprinted through the rear door, which had been opened so trash could be taken out, according to police reports."
Cold-hearted crook was wearing a ski mask and sprinted away after his ice cream caper . . . And your bad puns are better.
nigger wif a mask?????
ReplyDeleteIN COLD STONE (a sequel)...Truman Capote
ReplyDeleteA "chocolate" robber hit the ice cream store as the employees were closing for the night. They suspect he may have been on drugs, as he "waffled" in grabbing the money from the register before making a "split" for the exit. Witnesses say he was dressed oddly and no doubt a "tutty-fruity".....regardless, upon capture he's headed down a "rocky road" to a life behind "bars."
Good Humor @12:46 FTW!
ReplyDeleteThe Plaza is dead to me.
ReplyDelete2:28, sad to say, but we feel the same way. The TNB going on there far outweighs what charm it had left. Besides the nice architecture, it's basically a strip mall now anyway with everyday chain stores and franchise restaurants.
ReplyDeleteLet's see, the article above it had a description of the perp but this one does not. I wonder why. And spare me the "he was wearing a mask" bs. We all know he looks like Trayvon.
