JACKSON COUNTY JUDGE ANN MESLE ANNOUNCES HER RETIREMENT TODAY!!!

Yet another Jackson County judicial change up will have more power players polishing up their resumes and might make the political landscape even more interesting as election season approaches . . .

Judge Ann Mesle to retire

Judge Ann Mesle will retire from the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri on July 31, 2013 .

After nearly 13 years on the bench in Jackson County , Mesle is hanging up her robe and retiring from the Court. Mesle was appointed to the bench in November 2000 by Governor Roger Wilson. For 28 years prior to her appointment, she had legal experience with Achtenberg, Sandler & Balkin, Southwestern Bell and Lathrop & Gage.

During her career, Mesle has received many honors including the Missouri Bar Association’s Theodore McMillian Judicial Excellence Award in 2010, the UMKC Law School ’s Alumni Achievement Award in 2000 and its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006, and the Association of Women Lawyers’ Judge of the Year Award in 2004. She served as President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association in 1996 and the President of the UMKC Law Foundation in 1994.

Mesle has been active throughout her career in civic, education and charitable communities. Following her retirement, Mesle is eager to continue this work. She currently serves as Chair of the Park University Board of Trustees. She also serves on the Boards of Diastole Scholars’ Center, Child Abuse Protection Center (CAPA), and the Metropolitan Bar Foundation. Previously, she served on various boards of her alma mater, UMKC, for more than 20 years.

“Judges never retire,” says Mesle. “We just move our lives in challenging new directions.”

    They need investigate some of those JOCO Ks judges doing foreclosures.

    That RATS movie put it out there.

    Appears several of em got caught allegedly letting foreclosure attys forge their names to journal entries & attys sent it out in mail with other bogus docs judges probally didn't see. Lazy butts need to be fired.
