ReplyDeleteA school like Gordon Parks needs to be left alone. They are never going to be getting stellar test scores unless you can change the environment in which these kids live.
ReplyDeleteIt is always going to be an uphill battle for these kids. They are not going to catch up with the other kids. The key thing is that they are still going to be moving up that hill. If we throw these kids back into the KCPS it is the equivalent of throwing them down the hill.
Simply judging this school on test scores is moronic to say the least.
