As usual, most of the Internets reaction is mostly racist or hopelessly sycophantic . . . Meanwhile the middle-class continues to disappear.
Did he blame Bush and the Republicans? He has to blame someone. I mean, what can a president do in only five years.
ReplyDeleteI think he blamed all the "phony scandals" or maybe a reckless administration!
ReplyDeletestupid nigger.
ReplyDeleteBarry Bush with smiles.
ReplyDeleteThe thing Obama and thousands of tit sucking college leaches don't get is it is not just the cost of education. It is the FACT that folks in this country are more educated than ever and are making relatively less and less with each passing day. My father made a great living with the same company for 30 years. He got insurance, pension and benefits.
ReplyDeleteA college graduate today can't even find decent paying work so he lives with his parents until he is 30 years old. Then he had about ten years to make the big money before corporate America puts his ass out to pasture at around 40 years old. The sad part is that 85 percent of the available jobs for college students with Bachelors degrees offer less than $15.00 and hour. He also will not be working those ten years at the same company because at 5 years you start liking like a tree hugger. From 50-65 its happy Wally World door greeter time or you start your own business.
You will be lucky to be out of debt. Unless you are in a high tech field, a government employee or self made the value of a college education you will have to be paying off at 60 years old just doesn't equate to any real benefit.
The changes have to occur on the employer end and as long as some fucking Chinaman is willing to work for $3.00 a day Corporate America will continue to talk shit about our untrained workers while buying shiploads of shit from the bottom feeders in Asia.
So Obama either fix the real issues or stop talking out your ass. It doesn't take a P.H,D, to know how full of shit that speech really was.
As a middle-aged, mid-western, middle-class taxpayer, I was just pleased as punch to pay to fly the Pres, his entourage, and massive security contingent here to give a meaningless BS speech he could have given in the White House.
ReplyDeleteYour tax dollars at work . . . just not for you.
I am so tired of hearing Obama's voice.
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't Obama attack the college administrators for not bringing down the cost of higher education? Oh, that's right. They are his buddies.

ReplyDelete1:00 You mean fire those $350,000 a year coaches and do something besides support the sports teams? Pffffft! Those administrators know college is near worthless for most attendees. It takes athletics to market those worthless sheepskins they keep passing out at six figures a pop.
ReplyDeletePlease let the Obama years be over.
ReplyDelete9:28 You nailed it. Thanks. He continues to sound like the Eddie Murphy in the movie The Distinguished Gentleman about a con man who got elected to Congress. Kinda sounds like Obama.
