And This Morning In KCK: The shooting occurred in the 2800 block of North 76th Street just after 4 a.m. The victim died shortly after.
In KCMO, we have counted 58 homicides so far this year compared to 56 at this time last year . . . Debate over the numbers is in play as authorities suggest an overall downward trend while neighborhood leaders note the disproportionate Kansas City, MO homicide numbers that have added to more than 100 murders every year consistently for nearly a decade.
