Kansas City Council Dude Scott Wagner was recently on Facebook patting himself on the back regarding this topic. Sadly, the revenue from the Kansas City billboard crackdown will probably only serve to fund more City Hall marketing and the toy train. Meanwhile, the billboard industry continues to push back and City Hall really isn't serious about cracking down on billboards given that they looked the other way when The Sprint Center built a billboard immediately following a so-called Kansas City ban on the blighting signage.
