Hate to say it, but it could possibly be it a sudden heart attack, aneurysm, or some kind of fatal condition.

I'd assume suicide except I think they would have found the body by now (but I'm not familiar with the areas they've been searching; cadaver dogs would have been called in, I think). I bet he just ran off. Some girlfriend picked him up and he got in her car, and that's why the dogs keep losing his scent. Not sure why we're supposed to care, except that maybe this can be a cautionary tale for others: Don't get married and have a kid and live in a lame suburb and get a low-paying zero respect job if you feel entitled to an exciting, interesting, unique life. Loser parents like that are a dime a dozen, and they're all unhappy and dreaming of a way out. Make better choices from the get-go or learn to be happy with the choices you made.

Normal, religious straight men, who are fathers don't pierce their nipples and all of that other shit. If someone that looked like that was teaching my kid at church, I'd find another church.
