ReplyDeleteI can not believe that in 2013 we discuss the Star as if it has any relevance to anything other than wasting good trees.
ReplyDeleteIn my 56 years as a KCMO resident and taxpayer, no survey-taker, pollster, or politician has ever solicited my opinion, so today I'll give it anyway, not that our city leaders REALLY care what any of us think.

I have interacted personally with the KCPD on several occasions and have observed their activities many times over the years. I am pleased with their service.
I have not interacted personally with the KCFD, so I have no opinion, good or bad, regarding the quality of their service.
I have never had any contact with anyone from the Water Dept, other than getting my bill in the mail. However, I have observed numerous waterline breaks that have been allowed to spew for extended periods of time without being repaired, and I have observed their employees standing/sitting around doing nothing at job sites on many occasions. So I'm not overly impressed with them.
I am embarassed by the self-centered, taxpayer-ignoring job our Mayor has done so far.
