Considering that Sporting KC is the only real major league playoff caliber team in Kansas City . . . A bit of optimism regarding soccer celebration seems appropriate.
Sadly, this is more of a KCK win considering that KC Proper squandered their chance at the team and only now attempts to ram through a $23 million practice facility that'll mostly cater to bored groupies and frustrated sports newsies.
Still . . . The MLS All-Star Game is probably the most underrated sporting event of the Kansas City metro area Summer - Which makes it just a bit more worthwhile and far more enjoyable for local hipster group chanting.
