Outrage over a shady $12 Million customer service contract for Kansas City's old and busted Water Department has led to a rather significant delay.

TODAY CITY HALL POLITICOS DELAYED PROGRESS ON A VOTE TO APPROVE THE RATHER QUESTIONABLE $12 MILLION CUSTOMER SERVICE CONTRACT!!!

KCMO Water questioned for $12M contract

The Council blinked . . . Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Circo attempted to stand up for the measure while Councilman John Sharp also shared some concern.

    Check it out: This firm has NO experience with municipal water/wastewater utilities.....looks like investor-owned electric utilities, only.

    Hope they can convert kilowatt hours to million gallons per day.

    Soooo - the person who is banging someone at the consulting firm or has a relative who needs a job - is Circo. Figures. Dumb bitch. There's a big difference in pissing away $15k vs 12 MILLION. I'm still pissed about the $15k but really - 12 MILLION SQUANDERED! Unbelievable!

    6:49, this had nothing to do with Schulte or Leeds. Look to the sponsor of the ordinance.
    The consultants have already landed and are working at the Water Dept., spewing consultant talk. Are they working for free?
