ReplyDeleteI agree, it's sad that he died but I found it strange that the family is already planning his memorial and the police haven't even really confirmed it was him yet. Something doesn't add up here...put me in the "where is the cause of death" category - was he killed by someone else or himself? Was foul play involved? Nobody seems to be talking much. It's really strange...we all were caught up in the tragic disappearance, and now they want us to "back the hell off" and not ask questions. Something's fishy here.
ReplyDeleteI was a friend of Chad's. The search dogs lost his scent at the same spot on the opposite side of town from where he was found. He somehow got from point A to B without a trace. He had very obvious tattoos that he could easily be identified by. He was an amazing person who unfortunately lost his job and moved his family back to Liberty into his parents home when his wife recieved a job offer here. He stayed at home and took care of their 13 month old son which he said was the best job in the world. The memorial fund is for his wife and son to help support them as they try to figure out how to go on without him. The family has not yet been informed of cause of death therefor they dont have any info to give. Privacy is something they have not had since day 1 that he went missing. They need time to process this huge loss. When you have a child it is like your heart walking outside of your body....imagine losing that. Please be respectful. Everything you put on the internet is out there for good and someday little matthew is going to grow up and have access to the internet. He needs to see how amazing his father was and not this.

ReplyDeleteIf you go the Churches website that he worked as a Youth Minister, you can see that they have hired another person for his old position. The new person started in Feb. 2013. So that story the family is putting out there, that the position was eliminated because of downsizing, isn't true. At least it's not just as they are explaining it. I'm not accusing him of anything, I'm just saying it doesn't add up.

ReplyDeleteWe can safely come to the conclusion it's one of two things, he died of natural causes or self inflicted fatal injury. Some things just don't fit that he died of natural causes. People walk and run the track and parking lot at night at South Valley. Apparently nobody saw him going in the porta potty. Therefore it must have been after dark, he had time to run at the places the dogs picked up his scent. Mysteriously looses his job as a youth minister. Police had to serve a soepena to get his computer and cell phone. Didn't appear to be running his normal route. A well known drug user/dealer claimed to have seen Chad at 9:00pm on twitter.

Aside from overdoses, autopsies usually have the cause of death, or a suspicion, within 24 hrs. If you havent heard a followup story from the news, you can pretty much assume it was a suicide. The news outlets never report a suicide and had he died from natural causes, that would have been reported.

Since he was missing a few days before the reported date of death and the medical examiner has obviously finished their testing, most likely it was nothing relating to foul play but rather medical or some other personal type matter that the family does not wish to make public. People have a little consideration and compassion for his friends and family and let the guy rest in peace.

We just had a friend who succumbed to a massive heart attack while bike riding.
