TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! ACTIVIST TONI BONES ORGANIZES KANSAS CITY 'COPBLOCK' STRATEGY SESSION!!!

Kansas City Summertime should be interesting by all accounts.

Once again, Kansas City will rely on the protection of police officers on local streets amid an increasingly divisive and hostile political and cultural climate.

Now, add into the mix groups that strive to protect the liberty of the local citizenry and things really start to get interesting.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY ACTIVIST TONI BONES WORKS TO ORGANIZE A LOCAL "COPBLOCK" HOPING THE EFFORT WILL OPEN A DIALOGUE WITH POLICE AND RESIDENTS ABOUT CIVIL LIBERTIES AND CIVIL RIGHTS WHEN IT COMES TO LAW ENFORCEMENT CRACKDOWNS!!!

"I start off many of these informational sessions by clearly explaining that we are not cop haters. Instead, we're just very adamant about due process and protecting civil liberties," Toni Bones said.

What can we expect to learn from "copblock" organizing?

"Copblock is about teaching and reminding people of their inalienable rights," Toni Bones said. "We want to empower people to become responsible for their own safety and encourage citizen participation when it comes to public safety rather than just blind obedience."

MO/KS Copblock Strategy Meeting

Kansas City's first and only vegan bakery and coffeehouse has graciously donated their upstairs space for our next meeting. The Mud Pie Vegan Bakery and Coffeehouse is a truly unique, comfy small local business that provides google fiber wifi and incredible food. www.mudpiebakery.com

We will be going over the following topics before we head out copblocking:

Briefly going over some copblocking basics and smart phone applications again for those of us unfamiliar or couldn't make the last meeting. Also, we will spend some time discussing assertive, composed and non-aggressive demeanor while copblocking and how we can keep each other safe by doing so.

We will also have a booth opportunity with Liberty Restoration Projects annual Show Me Freedom Festival.

We have some unique and rather exciting local merchandise options we should all go over!

Many of us will be arriving at the Mud Pie early for an informative seminar by Eapen Thampy starting at 1 PM. More information to be announced in the very near future.

See you there!

  1. It's good that these folks are getting training if they plan to video tape. It's important that folks learn to stay out of the way of police in the performance of their duty. If activists want to monitor, they should definitely get training before doing so and find out the laws in this state that cover recording on private and public property.

Yes, go meet at the Pud Pie Vaginal Bakery and Cockhouse for an overwhelmingly DHS-mole infested meeting.

When she and her friends get the crap kicked out of them by the plaza mobs that they are using as an excuse to be relevant I hope the police use restraint in difusing the situation till they find out that interfering with the cops was not in their best interest.

  9. There is a lot more police... And a lot more violence. It doesn't take too many brain cells to see that police are not preventing any violence. Brains, people. Use them.

  13. The Missouri Information Analysis Center, or MIAC is a "fusion center," combining resources from the federal Department of Homeland Security and other agencies, in particular local agencies. It collects intelligence from both the local agencies and the Department of Homeland Security and uses these combined sources to analyze threats and better combat terrorism and other criminal activity.

  14. So we have an organization called Cop Block. They are going to go hunt down police and film them. I sure this is going to really open up dialogue with the police. Id suggest they start on the east side. It should go really well!!

  33. I keep hearing this term “activist” and it seems to imply, the way the media uses the term, that someone is important and good and that they are taking the high ground and that they are a person of virtue and morality. So I have to ask WHAT THE FUCK IS AN ACTIVIST? Do you automatically become an activist just by saying you are? Does declaring this give you instant gravitas? To become an activist, do you take a test, get certified or get a license? NO! Any asshole can call themself an activist and many do. It is like the term Reverend. It means nothing.

  38. Toni is probably too dumb to realize that cops started equipping their cars with video equipment for a reason -- to provide the same "objective record" as evidence in court.

So before she and the two or three people who attend this meeting hit the streets with their Smartphones, they should also be prepared to be subpoenaed as witnesses in court cases -- for the cops.

    2) Try not to laugh too hard

  51. Do you really think the Department of Homeland Security is that interested in Toni Bones or anyone who would attend a meeting with her?

You know, we should have enough real abuses of police power around here, such as cops watching who comes and goes out of gardening supply stores which TKC dismisses as suburbanite whining, to worry about whether the feds will assign agents to forever track people seen once with Toni Bones.

And one would think that being in the same room listening to Toni spin her fantasies about protecting civil liberties by recording cops would be punishment enough.

  57. Didn't wade through all the comments, so if this has been posted already my apologies...

Cops like coffee, right? My thoughts are that the Midtown cops should take their coffee breaks at the Mud Pie. Support a local business and all that.

Having cops in and out of the joint probably would make the clientele (not to mention ownership) a little uncomfortable.

Go ahead KCPD, mess with 'em a bit.

    1. Public servants do not make me uncomfortable, not in the slightest. I'm doing my job and doing nothing wrong. I am on good terms with many badged folks, in fact. We are not cop haters.

I agree with you. Support local business and get out of the McDonalds drive through, which is where I tend to see them getting their food, more often than not. Also, no real need to attend the meeting, we will go to them. Unless of course they are interested, I have no problem with that at all. In fact, I have some great literature for them and would love to introduce myself. I give out information and talk to LEOs at least a few times a week

  62. I don't think this is a good idea. I don't know if this is the right approach. I also know that this is not the right time to be inciting problems. I don't think making enemies with police is a good idea. I still don't understand why the plaza merchants don't use their expensive cameras and share the footage. (that place has more cameras than anywhere else in the city, and they keep buying more). No one wants a smash and grab or a tivol type robbery again, so they have the security systems. Why don't the merchants share their footage?
