ReplyDeleteYou mean "and the band played on..."
ReplyDeleteConsidering that in the 1930's the U.S.A. had plenty of mineral resources, lots of trained-and-regimented manpower, millions of productive family farms, factories that were practically new, and more than 90 percent left of the greatest petroleum reserve anywhere in the world and we still ended up with a great depression I'm not very optimistic these advertising people are going to do much to help us out of the current hole we've dug for ourselves.
ReplyDeleteNo new ideas other then buy another product.
ReplyDeleteThey need to sell ads to pay for that big fancy fishbowl building they built during the bubble.
ReplyDeleteWhat an array of assholes. Each and everyone look like they should be selling used cars somewhere. Oh wait, they will be SOON.
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty bad strategic planning, building that new building right as the Internet was taking off. I would have thought smart media would have seen it coming.
ReplyDeleteAnd besides that, such an impractical design!
Meanwhile, they hire more suits and not people who create product (reporters.) That paper is already too thin to buy. We don't even pick up the Sunday edition anymore at the store.
