Kansas City endured shocking allegations of a health insurance fraud conspiracy among City Hall workers not so long ago.

What was most appalling about this case is that the allegations of fraud were so rampant and some people were really blatant about (allegedly) taking advantage of a loophole.
At some point, I think I remember a note about a baby running a marathon.
Anyhoo, as the dust settle from this bombshell there's another shocking fact circulating through the corridors of City Hall . . .
KANSAS CITY INSIDERS REVEAL THAT THERE'S NO PLAN TO FIRE ANYBODY INVOLVED IN THIS ALLEGED FRAUD CONSPIRACY!!!
Sure, a few folks might get jail time and miss so much work that they would be up for termination . . . But right now there is not follow-up plan to discipline employees who allegedly took part in this scam.
An insider says, "You have to kill somebody to get fired at City Hall. And maybe not even then."

Local gov won't address personnel issues but we hear that nobody has been fired yet.
And so, from top to bottom, City Hall faces allegations of corruption but seems to quickly move forward in hopes that an increasingly lackadaisical electorate will continue to remain unconcerned.
