Kansas City area ministers and evangelicals congregated recently in order to tout comprehensive immigration reform and speak out against degrading terms like "illegal" used to label the most vulnerable in our society.
Here's the round-up . . .
A group of Kansas City-area evangelical ministers (I Was a Stranger KC) is urging Congress to quickly approve comprehensive immigration reform.
And despite some panic and fearful talk on pay cable . . . The immigrant hater movement is really no match for faith communities getting to know so many local immigrants (illegal and otherwise) and discovering that the overwhelming majority aren't out to destroy the nation but, in fact, have more in common with Christians than the voices of vengeful and sometimes racist pundits hoping to round up, deport and pretty much deny human rights to people because of paperwork.
Are they talking about the Mexican govt and how they view illegal immigration from the countries South of them?

Just what we need more immigrants to drive wages into the ground and blow things up.
