DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY P&L DISTRICT LEGAL PRACTICE SPECIALTY!?!?

Kansas City's P&L District has long been at the center of controversy AND it sucks up more than $12 Mil a year worth of local subsidy AND the TKC boycott is still in effect.

However . . . Credit where it's due: The Downtown Party place has seemingly created a bit of economic opportunity as well.

To wit . . .

COULD LAWYERS WORKING THE P&L DISTRICT DEVELOP A NEW FIELD OF EXPERTISE?!?!?

Thanks to AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS for sending this interesting local tidbit our way . . .

Here's the marketing pitch for this bit of legal service:

"Due to the entertainment and partying nature of the Power and Light District, bar managers, bouncers and area police officers are hypersensitive and want to control potential situations before they occur. Thus, behaviors that may be overlooked can turn into assault, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, trespassing, indecent exposure, and other charges. One too many drinks or a disagreement with a bouncer can land you in jail and leave you facing license suspension, fines and other serious consequences. Just going back in to tell your friends what happened can lead to a trespassing charge if you were asked to leave. Failing to leave an establishment fast enough may also result in charges . . ."

So, while there hasn't been much revenue to speak of and the promotions have been consistently lame . . . It's nice to see at least one cottage industry has developed a way to profit from one of Kansas City's worst mistakes.

  8. SPEAKING OF LAWYERS!

MARTIN LEIGH LAWS FRITZLEN LAW FIRM IS ALLEGEDLY USING NASTY METHODS TO AID OTHER FORECLOSURE ATTORNEYS.
For Sometime, they've used associates at MLLF
to assist in fraudulent foreclosures. MLLF is on national ROBO signers list for alleged fraud.

Using fake Vice Presidents of Banks & Lenders caught up in alleged mortgage fraud to sign assignments of mortgage to foreclose.

Amazing how one guy was Vice-president of Citi, Wells Fargo, Ameriquest, and Country wide at the same time, go figure!

Recently MLLF were caught enlisting the services of JACKSON & Associates a California law firm (see their web site)to fake out homeowners to evict them from homes that were fraudulently saddled with adjustable rates loans.

MLLF attorneys sent thru U.S. Mail letters stating that Jackson & Associates had title to the property, buying at sheriff sales.
    Total BULL!

Recorder of deeds records showed this was a LIE. Property had never been sold to Jackson & Associates. Next, they had ALTISOURCE, a contractor to re-key properties, intruding on the rights of the homeowners.

Folks at Jackson state they don't buy anything they just carry out evictions for MLLF. Love to upload docs so you can see.

Sources also discovered MLLF operated a MOKAN title at 1044 MAIN
downtown KC closing loans. Sources stated they weren't allegedly registered with the Dept of insurance avoiding audits and at one time allegedly borrowing notary & escrow folks from other companies to do their closings.

If they send stuff thru the U.S. mail knowingly as fraud does that constitute RICO?

Imagine how many foreclosures they do and how many people they Bogart to get their homes that were jacked over. Lots of folks are checking their docs and catching on. It would be a TRIP if these folks were allegedly setting up LLC to hide what they take.

Just think, MLLF volunteers at St. Vincents where poor children from inner city neighhoods go. How many of those same families were screwed over allegedly by Martin Leigh Laws Fritzlen attorneys and the lenders they aid?.
