CRAIG GLAZER CONSIDERS COST OF FAME!!!

TKC NOTE: A welcomed change of pace for tonight from Kansas City's favorite media impresario. Check it:

The Price of Notoriety
‘I'm gonna trade this life for fortune and fame
I'd even cut my hair and change my name
'Cause we all just wanna be big rockstars
And live in hilltop houses driving fifteen cars
The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap
We'll all stay skinny 'cause we just won't eat
And we'll hang out in the coolest bars
In the VIP with the movie stars’ – Nickelback ‘I Want to be a Rock Star’

Not everybody wants to be a well-known, high profile individual. Most people aren’t going to have that option whether they like it or not. Notoriety comes in many packages. When you are a younger person it’s the attention one gets in school. ‘Being popular.’ Usually this tag falls on the more attractive males and females at the school, the good athletes as well as the ‘rule breakers’; you know, the guys like Judd Nelson in ‘Breakfast Club’. The ones who misbehave in an almost acceptable manner, and so they stand out.

Unfortunately, it’s kind of rare that students with great grades, good parenting and those that act with a great deal of respect towards others ever become that popular. Moreover, one can be successful from any one of these groups…or not, there are no guarantees.

What makes Craig Glazer so popular in the media and on-line as well as vocally disliked?

I had a recent conversation with a former Kansas City Star columnist on this very issue. He had a pretty simple answer. ‘People like you,’ he said, ‘tend to have a fairly large ego. That’s normal. This, in and of itself, can piss people off. Your character both on radio and in print comes off a bit like a know-it-all. You tend to write or talk about subjects that always include you. Example: You wrote about the death of Elizabeth Taylor which was interesting, but you included your run-in with her at a Malibu restaurant. You inject your experiences with celebrities and major instances which most people don’t have.’

‘It comes off in two distinct ways,’ he continued, ‘your name-dropping and showing off. I get that you are trying to make the story more personal and thus, more interesting but most people don’t get that. Furthermore, you’ve lived a controversial life to begin with and you, overall have had success. It all adds up to make you a juicy target.’

I know many readers enjoy the gunfire of the negative comments to some of my articles. Where there’s smoke, there is always fire at least to some degree. The fact that, as an adult teenager, I was an armed ‘sting’ artist/ robber of drug dealers in the American Southwest is not a secret. Some people don’t find this former lifestyle to be appropriate or as anything that can be excused. I have compared those adventures to the lives of famous outlaws like Jesse James and Jon Dillinger. However, I am very much aware that history will decide those comparisons, not you or I. Most readers know that I have made an effort to secure that notoriety with the book, ‘The King of Sting’ and hopefully, with the ensuing film based on the book. To make matters more murky, I was given the opportunity to become a special agent for the Kansas Attorney General. When I started the job, I was only twenty which was unique. The fact that I’d operated on the other side of the law but was accepted by the government was also unique. It led to a huge political scandal and much controversy. This front page news led to shock and questioning of my motives. I must confess my motives were far from pure. I was living my life intentionally to be a movie and to become a character of note. The fact that I worked on special targets for the most part and arrested no one that I knew did not matter. Thus came the battle-cry that I was a ‘narc’, ‘snitch’ or ‘rat’ and that I ‘wasn’t a real cop’. Other people have said ‘If he was a cop, he was a crooked cop selling drugs.’ None of that is true, but it doesn’t matter, people paint a picture that suits themselves.

A bigger truth to all these events is most people react internally to these stories with ‘Why the fuck did he get to do that and I don’t?’

The crazy lifestyle continued when I optioned my life story to CBS in 1981. I lived in Hollywood, I was able to garner much attention to my story ‘Outlaws’. I ended up in shows like ‘NBC Tonight’ and the ‘Today’ show and was constantly in the LA media. Hollywood liked the hijinks of Glazer and Woodbeck. Woodbeck, of course, was my sting partner. Because of the media, us having a film agent and ‘Made for TV’ motion picture deal; he and I were able to hobnob with celebrities, movie stars and big name film people.

‘Why the fuck did he get to do that?’

Woodbeck was later shot to death in a sting gone wrong while we had a movie deal. Then we were front page news from LA to New York. A heavy price to pay.

What followed was a multi-million dollar sting that I led against agents of the Federal Government that I believed to be Columbian drug-dealers that may have been involved in Woodbeck’s murder. This led to me going to trial, being found guilty and sentenced to prison for seven years. I did four and a half years. A heavy price to pay. Of course, this led to another avalanche of publicity.

Leaving prison at the end of 1988, I was fortunate enough to catch on with the Champions Forever film group and had the chance to produce five sports movies that all went on to do very well, including the Muhammed Ali Story.

Now the wayward son returns to Kansas City, takes over Stanford and Sons in Westport and then I become a local ‘in-your-face’ media personality on almost any subject under the sun. We then have the somewhat famous lawsuit with my father which ends up a featured story on the Wall Street Journal’s ‘Smart Money’ magazine. Following this, we have the 2001 September 11th indictment on a cocaine conspiracy that never really existed. After an avalanche of publicity on this, the Federal Prosecutor admitted the Federal Government had made something of an error. When it ended the judge said, ‘I find it somewhat understandable, though wrong, that Craig used cocaine. But it was for personal use, it’s obvious he never sold drugs to anyone. The information that Law Enforcement received about him has been proven incorrect. After looking at the good he’s done for the community, I believe we are better off keeping him within the community. I would like to let him go free, but under the law I cannot. I sentence him to six months of custody in a halfway house followed by three years probation.’

Add all of that to a lifestyle of being a playboy that drives flashy cars, dates super-young super hot women, and being in my fifties to boot and the target on me suddenly grows to battleship size. By the way I haven’t even addressed that I play the heel on radio shows like ‘The Johnny Dare Morning Show’ on 98.9 The Rock. Add to that that I constantly talk about my ‘womanizing’ on other radio shows, and you begin to see why I’m not at the front of the line to light up the Christmas lights every year on the Plaza.

I thought writing my book would clear up much of the above. Maybe it only made it worse. My biggest failure is not having that one anchor of ‘smash’ success like a TV series or getting my life story made as a major motion picture. Hopefully, that will change. Likely it won’t change the opinion of many who see me as the evil empire. Understand this, it is having lived this life, Hollywood, Law Enforcement, sting artist and comedy club impresario as well as all the rest that gives me the insight and life experience to give you my point of view of life itself. It doesn’t make me right, but it would be hard to imagine finding someone else who has done all these things. I think that is what makes me unique but also makes me a figure of controversy.

  12. This was written earlier today, posted later. I am aware of what took place in Boston and it is tragic. Doesn't change the story. It has nothing to do with what took place there. You already knew that. Just more reason to attack, attack, attack.

There are tragic events daily. Sadly. I have written about many of them. Doesn't make writting about something else evil or wrong. You do that.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Seems Glazer in his way was just explaining himself. The Boston bombs had nothing to do with that issue, or him. But hell lets blame him for that too. Why not.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I agree with Craig. There are lots of other stories going on today like the collapse of the stock market.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Craig is just going over the who, what and why of his position in the KC media market. Guy isn't bragging, just telling you in a brief run his life. Doesn't ever say he is great or cool. Just giving us a history lesson on himself. It happens to be accurate. I have known him since I was about 20. Knew him and Woodbeck in LA.
No matter. Guy has led an incredible life. Unreal. Now you get pissed cause a tragic even happened in the East. So now his timing is bad? Would you have liked it better on Wednesday? I doubt it.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Let's start at the opening:

"I'd even cut my hair....if I had any!!" says Glazer.

OK, I just got started with this post when I reflexively vomited from the vile stench emanating from CG's words. I can't, I won't continue with it.

  18. I think many of these comments confirm Glazers story. He isn't bragging, he is saying what led to his position at least in KC.

Seems dude is trying to let us know where he is coming from. I don't know of many writers who do that. He is saying why he feels he fell short on some things. I find it refreshing. He is different.

  45. Glazerrrrrrrrrrr preys on the weak. He did it to Hearne after all the good writers jumped ship at KCC. Hearne came to his senses and pinched off dingleberry Craig. So he goes to the even weaker blogger TKC knowing that TKC has been perpetually jealous of the lucky spermer for ever and ever. Craig lets TKC come see shows and eat and drink for free. TKC has been compromised. TKC should be called PKC for Puta's Kansas City.

  46. Craig has stalkers. They seem very weird.

    What's a "lucky spermer"?

  47. You guys are a bit too hard on Glazer. Probably because you have a hard on for Glazer.

  48. From an historical standpoint, I'm okay with CG. I think it's great that these stories are going down on record. If you see this, Mr. Glazer, please contact me through my profile. I have a little present for you.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The only place I have EVER heard of this person is on your blog Tony. Same with the pink hair chick, the weird hair "crime fighter" Alonzo guy.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Guy who wrote 1:05. You sir are not well informed. Craig Glazer and his family have been in the news in a big way for decades, local and national. Stan Glazer also ran for mayor twice. To pretend we have not heard of him is kind of insane, or you are not up on anyone in the media in Kansas City. I don't like him or dislike him, the person is and has been big press for years. At least in Kansas City.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Agreed. His life is insane. I'm gonna order his book on kindle tomorrow. I think what he wrote just brought out his online enemies to write harsh words over and over. Just what this person pointed out in his article.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Why are all of you up so late on a weeknight. Shame on you. Scared Kansas City will soon be under attack? Nah, just like to read the Glazer hate mail. Fun.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Glazer only gets publicity because he is a relentless self-promoter. Should he have directed his energy to something constructive, he may, by now, have deserved some press. Instead he continues to throw his nasty, dirty, stinking underwear of personal experiences that he calls a successful life against the blank wall of KC press venues, and so, since there is often nothing else to write about, people like Chris and Tony break down and allow the stinking mess glaz provides to be memorialized on their blogs before it inevitably befouls the River Styx.

An example of his relentless self-promotion, consider that he continues to claim he produced the boxing documenteries, even though he was well down the food chain from the actual producer. Google the title "When They Were Champions" and see for yourself. His title, "associate producer" is one given to the gopher to an assistant to the actual producer. As an analogy, consider the shift assistant manager at Jack In the Box claiming he owns the place. You get the idea .....

Glazer's stable of women must really live in a stable. No actually upscale, classy, attractive woman, complete with sound mind, has EVER been on his list of long term relationships, or even short term ones; the stripper "Black Barbie" is as close as he ever got to decent woman, and thats not too God-awful close ... Occasionally has has had his picture taken with an attractive-looking woman, but that is FAR from such a woman being in love with him, or even liking him. The closest he has ever come to class is his ex-wife, who realizes glaze was by far her biggest mistake ever.

Glazer, like his dad, is a garden variety loser who only gains attention through manic self promotion.

Having watched his family from the sidelines since the sixty's, my friends have swapped stories about CG for entertainment purposes for years. When my group has a get-together after several years of drifting apart, we often talk about the glazers, AFTER talking about current events, our families, our businesses, the Royals, the Chiefs, the weather, new music, new resturants, old resturants, our cars, and our lawns and gardens. We DO, however, usually put glazer before J J Walker .....

    ReplyDelete
  54. Interesting story.

Here's what we know about you:

You've been talking about Glazer to your loved ones for more than 40 years.

You just wrote a 4 paragraph theme about him in the middle of the night.

You keep track of Glazer's romances.

And you know his movie credits.

Sounds like Craig is doing fine if he can keep people like you devoted to his every move.

Maybe it's not Glazer with the problem.

    ReplyDelete
  55. What makes Craig Glazer so popular in the media and on-line as well as vocally disliked?
Did captain D'bag really use third person.
    CG=legion in his own mind!!!!
Old and busted and probably a herp factory

    ReplyDelete
  56. Dear 4:43....

"You've been talking about Glazer to your loved ones for more than 40years."

==> 40 years is about right. But thats with an average of about 15 min per year. I've spent more time, all told, talking about OJ, and nobody in OJ's family ever stole from me or anyone else I know. No one in OJ's family ever mugged me, either.

"You just wrote a 4 paragraph theme about him in the middle of the night."

I am a bored night owl. Besides, if Glazer didn't expect to get negative responses, he should fire his ghost writer.

Moreover, "four paragraphs" is a meaningless stat. All four took me about eight minutes to write, about 1/3 the time it took the glazer gang to rob some teenagers I knew once upon a time.

"You keep track of Glazer's romances."

All I know bout Glazes so-called romances I learned from spending another ten minutes reading the garbage he has embarrased himself by writing. My God, if he can't even embellish his stories better than he did with the "Black Betty" one, then his so called romances must have peaked back when he shared a cell with Snoop Tom-Catt'n Dawg.

"And you know his movie credits."

I'm pretty quick with web browsers. It took about five minutes to find out glaz was lying about being a Hollywood bigshot.

"Sounds like Craig is doing fine if he can keep people like you devoted to his every move."

Actually, I owe glaze for providing comic entertainment. I get more laughs from him than I do from JJ Walker, and JJ gets paid for telling jokes.

"Maybe it's not Glazer with the problem."

We all have problems, but most of us don't brag about them. Most people would be ashamed to have been an armed-robber, drug smuggler, rat, money laundrier, whore monger, etc..... The glaze BRAGS about being a felon/criminal.

Break time is over..... Oh well, back to work :)

FYI, this hobby of reading TKC just took me about 10 minutes. I must be obsessed :) :)

  59. Guy who wrote Glazer was a low level producer on some movie he didn't ever do: Craig Glazer is the lead producer on five films, Champions Forever, The Heavyweights, Champions Forever The Definitive Edition, Champions ForeverThe Drivers and Champions Forever Latin Legends. Glazer was an associate producer of the original Ali film in 1989. I know because I own them all. I was a doorman at Stanfords in the 80's. Later a guy in the ring myself, not boxing, kick boxing.

The man wrote a piece explaining why people either liked or didn't like him. Why do you have to make up lies to go after Glazer. Just don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Jesus TKC, your support for this loser is growing to the obsession stage. Maybe you should re-think this???

  61. TL;DR

Craig you are a narcissistic bully. The kind of guy who talks loud in a room so people look and then confronts them for looking. It is sad to watch and easy to ignore. Your legacy is morally corrupt and tragic, who cares.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Glazers credibility is totally shot, he's going to hell that's the bottom line, so let him have his last Hurrah.

It's actually funny, sad, and pathetic all at the same time.

Now entertain me Mr. Glazer. Amuse me.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Craig I get what you were trying to do, explain your history and why people may not like you. Understood. It seems by now you would understand you are not going to win over the commenters who don't like what you did or stand for by now. Maybe write more stories that don't often involve your life. Also understand that the many thousands who read your articles don't comment at all and likely are interested in your opinions. The nature of the internet and comments on stories are generally negative to begin with, not only with you but anyone who is the least bit controversial. Stop trying to fight this issue, embrace it. You have lived quite a life, agreed, you don't have to run it up the flagpole. Let it be.

Why are you up at 2am/3am/4am

    about? Are you some sick
individual that all your hate and
anger has to spill outat 3am in
    the morning.
The questions i get are what are the problems with these people.
    There's been thousands of negative
comments about glazer. The ones we
    read here are just repeated/rehashed/regurgitated
comments that have been said a
    hundred times.
I imagine they come from the same
    people...the same guys who
tried to annihilate him on kcc.
These guy s can't tell us anything
    they've done in life...they won't..
just a group of people with a vengance of hatred after somebody.
    We've read their never ending
    attacks and its' old.
Glazer will write here on tkc.
You've stalked and obsessed over him with your comments ....spending
    time digging up old stories...old
information...you're so disgustingly obsessed with trying to hate the guy that its consumed
you...even overnight at 3/4am in themorning.
Whats up with that? You don't
have to read his stuff...don't have
to listen to the top radio stations he is on...don't have to
go to his comedy club thats one of the finest in the nation.
He makes a comment and you're ready
to jump on the guy for no reason at all.
You throw vile names at him..youre
jealous because you've done nothing and then you get out lof line like you did with me and all
    hell breaks loose.
Haters like the little bald guy..
    chuckles the clown...super dave...
what's your problem? Is there taht
much hate and anger built up that
you need a target knnowing that
the you'll chicken out when glazer
forces you to defend your remakrs
    to his face. You're chickens...
    you're losers.
We know everyone of you and
know your stories so that we
    know youve got seriouos problems.
Don't read his stories and your
    anger can be directed elswhere.
Some of you have anger management
problems that you've had to deal
with ...nows the time to refresh
your memory on how to deal with
    it.
    Glazer wins. Everytime he writes
he gets you so wound up and out of
whack that he surely laughs along with tony when comments come in
    reaching 100.
It's their way of playing the haters
    like a fiddle. Write something.
Get tons of visitors to write
    horrible/personal hate comments...
then keep doing it showing how
    shallow the commentators are.
    You hateful people are like
    puppets...one word from glaze and
you're all f*cked up inthe head.
You can't get enough of the guy
and you have to release all the
    anger and hate.
Maybe at one time that was directed
to loved ones but now you've got
    a new object to hate...glazer.
Stay away. Stay over with hearne
    and his stories on disneyland/
    krispy cream donuts/weddings in
lawrence/soccer and the rest of the
    stories that get 5 comments.
Tony has a great blog with pertinenet information that is
    booming with readers.
Hearne is dead so the 5 haters
from over there need a place to
hate and put their vile disgustinig
    comments.
So please stay over there. And
go direct your anger and hate and
    disgusting comments to another
    person.
Stop!!! Your day to tell your story
    will come very soon.

  69. It's fun watching Glazer "dance". Dance boy I said dance!!!

Seriously the guy really should consider retiring he's not doing himself any favors. He's to old anyway.

    Roy Medawar .... supervising producer
    F. Daniel Somrack .... supervising producer
    Hollister Whitworth .... executive producer
    Nabeel Zahid .... producer
    Champions Forever The Definitive Edition
This DVD was such a POS noboy whats to list anything about it including IMDB Did fins the follow,

The lost interviews (1989?, 32 min.) -- Champions forever / produced by Nabeel Zahid and Joseph Medawar ; directed by Dimitri Logothetis ; writer, Kenneth W. Griswold ; original story, Joseph Medawar, Hollister Whitworth (1989, 81 min.) -- Dinner with the "champs" / directed by Craig N. Glazer, Ron Hamady (1989?, 25 min.).

Champions ForeverThe Drivers and Champions Forever Latin Legends,

Carlos De La Torre .... producer
    Craig Glazer .... producer
Marco J. Gonzalez .... executive producer
    Lee Librado .... producer
    Kelly Andrea Rubin .... producer

    Ali film in 1989
This must be the biggest POS of all time. Outside of Amazon nobody has it list or even talks about it. No where is any mention made of Glazer and for 2.50 it's yours. One review at Amazon just by reading it you know it was Glazer or one of his ghost writers who did it but here is a review that that explains this loser to a T.
"Its a rather poor documentary with insufficient fight scenes: There were only photographs of the Ali v. Foreman fight!! A lot of time is spent on interviews - none with Ali - presumably to give the impression that Ali was created by his trainer or that the owner of his first gym was somehow responsible for his greatness. Buy Ali's Greatest Fights instead. It has 3 separate fights - Liston, Foreman, Frazier (3rd) - with excellent commentary." written by an Amazon customer.

So Mr. Doorman/Glazer as one can see your claim to fame isn't worth a free cup of coffee at Waffle House.

Some really good people in KC have been a part of some great movies and DVD's, you Mr. Glazer have not and stop trying to make folks think you have. You're nothing but a con man still pulling your con games. Keep it up loser and it just might get your ass thrown back in jail, since you seem to have a habit of opening your mouth when it would have been best to keep it shut.

  74. 7:08, you are busted for lying ... Here is what you wrote;

"Craig Glazer is the lead producer on five films, Champions Forever, The Heavyweights, Champions Forever The Definitive Edition, Champions ForeverThe Drivers and Champions Forever Latin Legends. Glazer was an associate producer of the original Ali film in 1989. I know because I own them all. I was a doorman at Stanfords in the 80's. Later a guy in the ring myself, not boxing, kick boxing.

    From website on "Champions Forever":

    PRODUCERS

    Tom Bellagio. Executive Producer
    Hollister Whitworth Executive Producer
    Roy Medawar Supervising producer
    F Daniel Somrack. Supervising producer
    Nabeel Zahid. Producer
    Joseph Medawar. Producer
    Kenneth W Griswold. Co-Producer
    Jessie Clark. Associate Producer
    Craig Glazer Associate Producer
    Howard Bingham. Associate Producer

    From Mediamatch:

    What do Associate Producers do?

An Associate Producer position can often be an entry level one. Often referred to as the 'AP', an Associate Producer generally assists the producer in putting the TV program or film together. Duties may include writing, editing, organizing scripts, running the teleprompter in news casts, or helping the editor by making beat calls.

And finally, should there be any doubt that this "producer" business is nonsense, consider that the guy "7:08" claims to be both the owner of these films and the doorman at Stanford's. Last time I checked, George Lucas, et al, don't moonlight as doormen :). :)

  77. Did a search for "glazer woodbeck" on Google and found a couple of interesting pieces:

    http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1755&dat=19821008&id=0hgiAAAAIBAJ&sjid=P2gEAAAAIBAJ&pg=6896,4259764

    http://articles.latimes.com/1985-04-16/news/mn-23268_1_drug-dealers

    http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=FjVcAAAAIBAJ&sjid=tFUNAAAAIBAJ&pg=1397,3766970&dq=glazer+woodbeck&hl=en

Many of the reasons people despise Glazer can be found in those articles. He dealt drugs. He took drugs. He lied to the police. He lied to the Kansas attorney general. He tried to make money off of his criminal activities. He was at least partially responsible for a close friend getting killed -- and instead of trying to help, he ran away.

"Drug vigilante?" "Errol Flynn?" Bullshit on both counts. Craig's a liar, a criminal, a narcissist, and a coward -- and for some reason, Tony thinks a schifoso like this deserves to have a presence on his blog.

If it had only been Craig in that apartment in Redondo instead of Woodbeck ...

  78. wow, once again talk about crazy comments. Seems my take was too on the money. As far as my movie credits some are on IMDB and IMDB Pro...including Champions Forever...I was the associate producer of the first one, but bought out my partners with Ron Hamady in 1992 and owned the title and did the rest, tell you what. Like MILLIONS of buyers I have copies of course of all five films, they are on the wall in Stanfords...I'll put up ten grand to Tony, you do the same...I am listed as THE LEAD PRODUCER ON ALL FIVE, they are in stores, it says so on Amazon...how stupid...I've done hundreds of TV and radio interviews as producer and more on these pix...there are other prods sure, all movies have that, or most...but lets make that bet...Tony and the bettors can meet me at anywhere they want I have to bring the proof, or you can just buy them online and see what the truth is, or come to STanfords and look at the wall and articles. It's like saying George Brett was a batboy.

P.S. on IMDB also costarred in Billy LoneBear with Frank Stallone and Brian James from Blade Runner and The Player..and others, have to admit the movie wasn't very good, also co produced Pandemonium with Ron Hamady...Jesus, it never ends...lets make the bet. But you won't you are a loser coward.

Man Harley is right, you haters are just crazy, nuts over me. Either in hate or love. Damn. Strange folks.

In the Definitive Version featured in Ring and USA Today, I also in the film interview Ali...but you are likely blind and don't see that, huh.

Do you really think all this stuff is made up to some extent but got by the LA Times, KC STar, Network TV and more? But you found me out, right.

I guess you nut bags keep readers coming so maybe its a good thing.

Thank you to the readers with serious comments. I appreciate them.

  80. P.S. after I bought out the original film, Champions Forever, we redid it and rereleased the picture, I was then the lead producer, so that is confussing, but after that the other pix were not. Hey several people you mentioned did a ton to get the movies made, it was a team effort and for those who think these films were not a big deal, the Ali film and Latin Legends TODAY are in top ten of all time sold sports films, all time in the world, sold millions. Thanks for asking.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Glazer what is fascinating here is that these 'Glazer haters' do research on you. They put up articles or website placements that only in the end prove you did the things you said you did. Sure there are stories that make you out to be kinda a bad guy, but with all the media and you being outside the law at times, that is always the case.

These Glazer Haters want it both ways. If they don't like what you did, you are a liar, if its good, you are a liar. Oddly its all true, I think having a serious book out pretty much proves that, I'm sure you had to prove all the stories to them, especially credits and court room issues.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Wow, douchebag, how about we forget the movies and you respond to those links 9:37 posted. So after all this big talk, turns out you're nothing more than a coke head armed robber? I really like the part where you run away while your best friend gets murdered. Goes to show, never trust a fucking cokehead.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Once again, all we get is a rehash of earlier columns he wrote at Hearne's site. There is not an ounce of creativity or originality in Glazer's entire bloated body.

    ReplyDelete
  84. You bet I did. Copies of documents, records, phone calls to authorities, even contracts on film work and more, they didn't want to be in a legal battle with anyone. It was tough. In fact I wanted to use more real names of criminals in the saga, but they backed out of a couple to avoid legal issues. I have to give SkyHorse Credit, they went all out and let me and Sal tell the story once they had the goods. We submitted a truckload of articles and proof. You can't prove what was said during a sting or action, so thats from my point of View. The Woodbeck murder and my Sting with the Feds were covered in court docs. Sal Manna covered much of those hearings as well. He was then a reporter and wrote a front page story for the LA Examiner and Peter Brown for LA Calender, both reporters did several LA based and national stories on us. I later officed with Peter Brown who wrote a couple of big books including the one that made cover of People on Marylin Monroe, great guy.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Free food and drinks at Stanfords is why his story's are here at TKC.

Plus Tony is all in awe of the Glazer. Tony says,"There is no doubt that Craig Glazer knows his stuff and I thought this was a FANTASTICALLY written post that obviously revealed a great deal of insight." So Tony must believe all the lies or he believe it is all true. Either way the folks he might be starting to impress in this town as being a mover and shaker in reporting the news or items of news no doubt will start looking at him in a different way now. I know I sure do.

Is it me or did anyone else notice that nobody was beating down the door of Craig's Westwood dump or trying to catch him in the parking lot of Entercom, Stanfords or Woodside making him an offer to write for their media after he was no looger a regular at KCC. Hell the Pitch wants nothing to do with him unless it's to show what a shmuck he is. No everyone else has done the background looking into Mr. Glazer and they don't like what they see and don't want him as a part of their team. So he has to hawk his way on to the local airways with people who are for most parts bigger stars than he is who will give the listeners the stations hope 5 minutes of giggles on their morning commute. No if Craig was as hot, as he would like for all of us to think he is people would be knocking at his doors wanting him for bigger and better things. But they are not, he instead chases them and get's the same reaction from them as a big ass fat juicy pimple on Celine Dion face would get from directors prior to her singing the National Anthem at a Super Bowl game. Total Disgust!

    ReplyDelete
  86. I like the part where one of the lawyers asks Glazer why, when he heard gunshots outside the apartment, he didn't run back and try to help his friend and Glazer replies, "You want me to get shot?"

Exactly. Why risk your life? There's a screenplay to sell. Young chicks to bang. More coke to shove up your nose. Fast cars to drive. Maybe a book deal and a fancy house in LA. You can't do any of that with a hole in your chest.

Oh, I forgot -- you did all this to get back at the drug dealers. How honorable. How noble. And what complete and utter bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  87. They're not "stings" you stupid asshole, they're called "armed robbery". You stole drugs from drug dealers at gun point because you were a piece of shit drug addict. And as is typical with piece of shit drug addicts, you had absolutely no loyalty, even to your best friend (who you abandoned while he was being murdered, fucking coward). And as is typical with piece of shit drug addicts, you made up a bunch of bullshit to try to cover up the fact that you were nothing more than a piece of shit drug addict robbing people at gunpoint. Scumbag, they should have never let you out of prison.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Yes Craig IMDB is a liar they have it all wrong why most your movies not even listed. Also why they don't have you listed as lead producer. So you bought out some else's work and re did it, and it gets crap reviews. We dislike you because you lie, twist the truth, and broke the law in so many ways it's scary to think someone like you still walks the streets.

  90. Don't you think that this stupid assed Glazer, could afford a decent wig??? The one he's wearing looks like a dead cat, sitting up there.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I work in the media, radio. I don't know of any other person in this city who does as many radio shows as Craig does today or has done. He often does them without comics, like KMBZ or 610 Sports, even Dare has him on without comics often. To my knowledge Stanfords does not advertise on many of these channels including KMBZ, 610,5 or 41. But there is the guy on air and often.

I wasn't in LA when all these things happened. I read his book King Of Sting. There was plenty of back up proof to almost everything in there. To call Glazer any kind of coward is simply b.s. I think no I know this was as brave a guy as you will meet. I do think most of this is behind him today, that he capitlalizes on the past, so do many others, its the world we live in people.

I know him, like him, respect him, have worked with him. Good guy. You can't fake that too well.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I work in the legal field. I own all but one of Glazers movies, he did produce them. His name is first on the back of each picture. Just the truth. Worked with him on some business and legal issues. Seems ok to me. Like his stories.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Covered Woodbeck killing. Don Woodbeck was dead before Glazer got to the room. He was shot in the back with another man. Glazer came forward to LA police about what happened and testified against the shooter. He never ran from anything but the scene as not to be arrested for being there. Woodbeck was already dead. Glazer was NOT part of the sting, was there to stop Don. Front page news. LA/New York. Hate to give you the truth fellas but that is the truth. Moreover from knowing the man, he's sharp and was nobody to fuck with, pretty obvious. Craig hope all is well in your world.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Amazing how all of a sudden in just a few minutes nobodies come out of no where backing Glazer with names that can't be proven to even exist in their fields they claim to work in. Come on you losers if it is so important to try and prove what he says is true give you name and company so other can just verify the facts. 10:51 if what you say is true it would be public record so what's the big deal in not proving such?

    More Glazer bullshit!

  99. 10:51 Don't know who you covered it for, but everything you just wrote is directly contradicted by the actual news articles that were cited. You have printed documentation to back up your claims there, not-Craig? Yeah, didn't think so. This guy is a scumbag drug addict that supported his habit at gunpoint. Thief, liar, felon. Oh, and the coward part? He was outside the room when he heard the struggle, and his reaction was to "walk to the elevator and hit the down button". When asked why he didn't go back to help his friend, douchebag replied, "You want me to get shot?" Someone not to be fucked with? Why, because he can outrun a fucking jackrabbit when a friend is in trouble?

    ReplyDelete
  100. Craig, quit talking to yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  101. CG is a narc, armed robber who stole to support his drug addiction.

He was responsible for Dare's place going away (sniff sniff). He was responsible for the close call Johnny and his boys had regarding cocaine a half decade ago.

As a convicted drug and gun felon, I find it odd that he is allowed to own a liquor license.

Perhaps that is why he has been not so discreetly run out of Westport and now takes hide on a bankrupt strip mall near Bonner Springs?

LOL at 7 producers for a documentary consisting of almost entirely old footage. He didn't even get the lead producer credit.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Yeah, Tony spends half of his time bemoaning gun violence in KC, and then invites an armed robber drug addict con artist on to extoll his own imaginary virtues. But Glazer's white, so it doesn't fit Tony's anti-black hysteria narrative.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Glazer gets over 100 comments most of the time. Tony great move getting the hottest online writer in this town. Period. Like him or not. He is on fire. Good job Tony.

    ReplyDelete
  104. He does get the comments, good or bad. I just wish he would have something to say relevant, or be funny, or be informative.

The 'best' things he puts here are the Stanford's ads because at least they are informative.

This is just more baloney tall tale half truths. But we all kinda figure out he's playing a character, right?

    ReplyDelete
  105. It may get a lot of comments but it's comments of people sick and tired of the shit and lies but guess Tony don't see those.

A movie would be interesting. Best of luck.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Well, in my experience a person who has to brag about himself to the point of grossly overexaggerating what few accomplishments he might have isn't comfortable with himself.

Instead, he is constantly seeking validation from others as to his own perceived greatness.

    And inevitably fails. Miserably.

Also in my experience, the truly accomplished people don't need to brag about it.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Hey Craig,
You need to mix up your fake comments a little more. Try to avoid the recurring themes I keep noticing, like "interesting background", "best of luck", etc. I do like that you took my suggestion, and are mixing up your use of Anonymous with the fake names (you know, Frank from Leawood, etc.), but that's just not enough to fool people. I mean, if you're going to be a fucking troll, be the best fucking troll you can be. Take some pride, for godsakes!

  111. I only write as me, CG. Example, you thought Jim Norton was me a comic's name, he is in fact a top notch Overland Park Lawyer who repped me in my divorce, good guy. Hi Jim hope all is well.

  112. See, Glazer, this is why you are such a dick.

You can't let it ride that your name appears among those of several producers in some truly cheaply made
    direct-to-video "films".

You got to now claim that one of those "films" is among the best-selling sports movies of all time, selling in the millions.

In other words, your lies about yourself are so outrageous that the only conclusion left is that you are a self-aggrandizing narcissistic blowhard who never mentally advanced beyond the age of 12.
