ReplyDeleteThe City should pay for an outside investigation. They only problem now is that the KCFD has had time, motive and opportunity to fuck with physical evidence. If they did and it can be proved, those firefighters should be lifting weights and watching daytime TV in Petosi.
ReplyDeleteKCFD screwed the pooch, it's as simple as that. They didn't follow the cities guidelines for these situations. Those who were on scene before the explosion and left should be fired, and the city should pay up.
ReplyDelete8:38 is right. Not only were policies not followed but neither was common sense. You smell gas, you get out. Firefighters smell gas, they of all people, should know to tell people to get the hell out of there. Insead, they were the only ones who left.

ReplyDeleteContractors work all the time in KC once they fax over their permit application so why make it sound like a bug deal in this case?

Third; Seems to me the only reason there is still an investigation is to make a bunch of lawyers rich. Shut it down. Poor girl is not going to rise from the dead. Let the insurance companies nag each other to death and lets get on with life. There will always be someone to blame for something.
