TKC doesn't log IP info or any other identifying data . . . But this came up in the archives in an old post about the recent Brookside Blvd/South Plaza deadly home invasion shooting.
It's worth mentioning and provides more detail . . .
"One of the girls was my fiance's brides maid. Her boyfriend was the fatality (killed instantly) and her arm bone was shattered by the bullet. The story is that the criminals were trying to rob the previous owners . . . From what I heard. They were all UMKC students and the boy died instantly. It's worth noting, the criminals came in shooting, they didn't even attempt to rob the home without violence. "
So, this is an important note about Kansas City real estate in Midtown and Brookside . . . Be VERY CAREFUL about the previous owners and reconsider Kansas City stereotypes and misconceptions that mistakenly believe that all local violence is confined to East Of Troost.
Clearly we won't be safe until there is an armed gang member with a badge on every street corner! More police!

Perhaps you don't log IPs Tony, but your Web provider Google.almost certainly does. And Google hands over IPs in many cases on a whim or puff of legal paperwork. No subponea needed.
ReplyDeleteI know what your trying to say, but as long as your blog is run by google, you are logging IPs - they're just doing it without your intervention.
The landlord should have a record of previous tenant, and cops follow up...spend some of the huge amount of tax revenue generated on the East Side and solve this crime!
