THE TAX IS FOR ROADS AND HIGHWAYS:
"The proposal would call for funding to widen Interstate 70 between Independence and Wentzville."
What's fascinating about that is how you guys bitch about public transit but ignore how much money we spend subsidizing highways and roads that don't "support themselves" either...
In fact, the taxes that drivers ay only fund about 1/3 of all costs of roads.
