ReplyDeleteThe police do not protect people. Their first function is law enforcement. Their second function is bring revenue into the city via the fines people pay for having the law enforced and for introducing people into the prison industrial complex. Thugs have no money so the police are not that motivated to do anything about the thugs if they can readily put them into the PI complex.

ReplyDeleteWow, maybe councilman scott wagner has an ordinance ot two he can introduce to curb this vandalism. Maybe there could be an organization in the northeast who's purpose would be to address quality of life issues, such as crime and grime. That organization could rally grant dollars and volunteers to help the area help itself. Scott, does such an organization exist?
