ReplyDelete^Your camera has killed more people than my gun.^
ReplyDeleteGusewelle is senile and far beyond being useful to anyone.
ReplyDeleteTime to retire and STFU.
Again this school shooting doesn't require additional laws. It requires the freaking Feds to get off their fat asses and enforce exiting laws.
ReplyDeleteRight now NO one with a serious mental disorder or a history of a serious mental disorder is allowed to buy or possess a gun. We know that this kid was only 20 and attempted to purchase, was denied and walked away. NOW, where the hell was the red flag in the system that scream out, "Hey a nut job just tried to buy a gun and we need to get on it." or "Underage person just illegally tried to buy a gun." It isn't like the FBI didn't know because every background check for gun purchase runs though the FBI.
Did the FBI or ATF run out to even interview this kid? Hell no! The ATF was apparently too busy covering their asses over the Mexican gun running they started that has resulted in the deaths of their own agents. In the mean time the kids mother is a gun collector who knows damn well that her kids has mental issues and yet guns were accessible to him. Did the FBI charge the dumb ass mother with anything? Hell NO!.
This amplifies the whole damn problem with bureaucrats. They seem to think that if someone walks in their office and drops a case on them on a silver platter then they will have to do something. If they have to get off their ass and actually get their hands dirty then forget it. It is some other's fault when shit blows four different directions.
This is not a case where we need a heard of drama queens screaming for gun control laws. They already exist. What we need are taxpayers demanding that we separate discretion and laziness when it comes to our well paid law enforcement and prosecuting agencies. There are plenty of laws here. Apparently fighting the war is just too damn much work for some.
10:23 I agree with you 100%. Everything Gusewelle writes is a parody of his earlier style. Thirty years ago he could write something like: "The people who tell you to pull yourself up by your bootstraps control the supply of bootstraps." Now he writes shit about the Ozarks and his dogs. He should stay with that and leave contemporary issues also because the Charles Gusewelle who could handle topical issues is gone, gone forever.
ReplyDeleteThe real issue should be in these mass shooting by the lone white boys are psychiatric treatment and the drugs prescribed to them as a result of such treatment. What is the common denominator with all these shooters? They all were involved at one time in psychotherapy and were taking psychiatric medicines. Is there any talk of outlawing psychiatrists and antidepressant drugs? Of course not. Too much money is made from the drugs and the government needs psychiatrists who aid them with the enforcement of its agenda.
ReplyDeleteGusewelle used to be beautiful, wisdom fades with age, stick with your dog stories C W please.
ReplyDeleteIt's.allmost sundown for Gusewelle & The Star
