We're writing this post while hiding under a table because my ex-girlfriend and her current millionare Chinese boyfriend are slumming in my Latino neighborhood. And this got me thinking that avoiding all the people that I used to know is a practice that I have fine-tuned over the years. It's more art than science but the most important part of the valuable skill is the ability to throw yourself under a table and hide for at least a half an hour . . .
And so, I'll be playing Tetris for the next few minutes and lamenting that all of the successful people are STILL back in town for the holidays.
