"What happens to the Hereford House now?"

Ferruzza wonders if there is a future for the beleaguered establishment and most residents think that it's a crying shame that there isn't a mid-price-range place to get a good steak in Downtown Kansas City.

  2. Not quite downtown, but head over to The Golden Ox

  3. The Golden Ox has always been better, more historic and more authentic, than the Hereford House.

  5. Some good points no doubt.

The Golden Ox has huge KC history at it's location since 1949 and as well survived the flood of 1951.

The Hereford House didn't open till 1957 at 20th and Main.
