Today Kansas City celebrated Small Biz Saturday.
There are still a few more hours to do some shopping that counts. And while TKC doesn't take advertising . . . Here are a few of my favorite Kansas City shops that deserve biz today and in the future:
Zebedee's
Rock Candy
Three Dog Bakery
Sylvia's Deli
Poptopia
In this post, it's TOTALLY appropriate to plug your favorite LOCALLY OWNED Kansas City biz and offers suggestions as to where TKC readers can spend their cash so that it will stay in town.
La Fonda has the best fried Tacos in the city.

Mix the hot and mild sauce down at the little stand.
Yummy chips.
Good service.
Tony? Are you a tool?
ReplyDeleteThree Dog Bakery is an international company with 35 stores throughout the world. It's hardly a "small biz" or "local".
Maybe do some research.
How about the Chiefs? They're a local business and boy, are they small!?
ReplyDelete4:28- Tony's just trying to create a little goodwill with the source of his second favorite treats in case his snack supply pipeline dries up from the Hostess situation.
ReplyDeleteThree Dog Bakery was founded in KC.
ReplyDelete4:28 just showed his ignorance.
I didn't realize an Inernational Company (3 Dog) was considered a "small biz".
ReplyDeleteQuit nit picking.
ReplyDeleteHow 'bout Tasso's?
Gyros!!
The only thing the Greeks are good for is anal sex...
