TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! DEMOCRAT INSIDERS WONDER IF KANSAS CITY LOVE IS ENOUGH TO CARRY REP. JASON KANDER TO MISSOURI VICTORY?!?!
After a brief chat this afternoon with a young, insightful and extremely influential Kansas City Democratic Party Power Broker . . . This surprising insight came about . . .
OUR COWTOWN DEMOCRATIC ELITE WONDER IF SO MUCH KANSAS CITY LOVE MIGHT NOT BE ENOUGH TO CARRY JASON KANDER TO VICTORY!!!
Get it straight . . . In Kansas City Jason Kander can do no wrong. He's not just respected, but very close to beloved.
However, as usual . . . The rest of the state doesn't really care about what's up to date in Kansas City.
Also, his opponent GOP MO House Speaker Pro Tem Shane Schoeller is repping Springfield so he has rural area cred and has been getting big checks hand over fist despite running a rather lackluster campaign.
Stranger still . . . Recent polling puts Jason Kander behind in this race despite his STRONG LEAD in the fundraising battle.
So . . . Kansas City leads the state in population and this town is certainly more entertaining that suburban STL . . . But the local Donkeys now seem extremely worried that overwhelming Kansas City love for Jason Kander might not be enough to push him over the top.
DEVELOPING . . .
He'll win.

What does he think of unsolicited bulk email?
ReplyDeleteha!
ReplyDeleteIf the love is so overwhelming for this guy why is this the only place I ever see anything about him?
ReplyDeleteThis race is much bigger than the youngsters hoping to win it. The entire initiative and referendum process that has been overly abused by the current SOS lays in the balance.
ReplyDeleteJason will lose in the Republican sweep of Missouri in November and come back to KCMO where he'll no doubt get some cushy appointment at city hall.
ReplyDeleteKCMO doesn't have anywhere near enough ambitious insiders looking to ingratiate themselves with the swells and prepare for their next campaigns.
Maybe he can run the streetcar gig!
We do love Jason but I have my doubts about this election.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this with comments about unsolicited bulk e-mail?
ReplyDeleteTake you message of enslaving the entrepreneurial spirit of the American people somewhere else TKC.
ReplyDeleteMike Talboy has a big mouth.
ReplyDeleteShane will kick his ass. 60/40 split.
ReplyDeleteWho is his campaign manager?
ReplyDeleteWho would be up at 3 am?
ReplyDeleteThe young man in a hurry has buried his political career in ambition.
ReplyDeleteI guess the rest of the state has not drank the Kander Kool Aid like Tony.
In the STL area, it is clear that Kander is a calculating asshole. Everything he does is to further his career...not to serve anyone (but himself). Many of the Dems here would rather take a shot against Schoeller with a different candidate in 2016 than have Kander win.
ReplyDeleteLoaded down with campaign cash, Kander shoved other Democrats who had more experience to run on out of the way, and now we will probably get Schoeller as Secretary of State. With that self-centered act, Kander has invited untold harm that Shane will rubber stamp for the radical right. Thanks to Kander, expect a wave of ballot initiatives aimed at making Missouri more of a Theocracy. Thanks Jason, you asshole.
ReplyDeleteIf Kander fucks this up, his political career is over. Jason will have to lower himself to reporting to work and being accountable for billable hours, which is not something he can handle -- he proved that at the Montee Law Firm.
ReplyDeleteTalboy has told several of us that Kander is looking at a scandal arising out of his wife's investments. The campaign is as good as over.
ReplyDelete9:01 AM Interesting
ReplyDeleteKander is WAY too ambitious.
ReplyDeleteKander is HOT!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuck it, you losers. He'll mop up his opponent.
Kander hasn't paid his dues. He hasn't done much in life to prepare him for a career in politics. Go do something with your law degree, Jason, before you try to rule the world.
