TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! OVERTIME PAY EMT CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST KANSAS CITY MOVES FORWARD!!!

Some may call this a mixed ruling but supporters are saying this is a ROUND ONE VICTORY and the decision that has come down hasn't stopped what could be a rather COSTLY legal episode for Kansas City.

To wit . . .

KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS HAVE REVEALED THE LATEST DOCUMENTS IN THE EMT CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST KANSAS CITY!!!

Check it . . .

The latest ruling has the lawsuit moving forward and defines the Kansas City EMT workers who not only have the right to sue but now look to be gaining momentum.

Like it or not . . . TKC WILL NEVER ADMIT THAT THE MAST TAKEOVER WAS A GOOD IDEA AND IT'S CLEAR THE AFTERMATH COULD PROVE EXCEPTIONALLY EXPENSIVE FOR THIS TOWN!!!

Read over the document but realize that a political decision at the behest of special interest has served to not only compromise a city service but also continues to impact the pocketbook of this town.

DEVELOPING . . .

  1. Don't worry. Our mayor will mediate this.

  2. Mast folks are about to get paid, and then all laid off. City will buy them off, realize this merger was fucked and fire all of them. Then contract ambulance service with amr.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Local control has worked so well for the ambulance service, imagine how the KCPD will be whipped into shape by Sly and John Sharp once they engineer the change in police control.
How's the detailed well-thought-out proposal for Sly's takeover of the school district coming? You mean there's actually more to this than just changing boxes on an organizational chart?
    The carnival continues.

  4. I'm not pro or con this lawsuit. Could someone please explain what the ruling means especially the issue around two or three years.

    ReplyDelete
  5. What is the lawsuit about? Amr will be running the ambulance in 3 years. Wages will drop to bare bones and they can lie about response times like MAST / John Sharp did.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I regret that there are no good looking emt women. They can go away now. We don't need that shit here.

    ReplyDelete
  7. No one controls the KCFD. We run this city.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I like how the scare tactics come out with amr take over talk. Which will never happen. How many lay offs in mast or kcfd history? Hmm..let me count. Zero.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I like how it's Local 42 leadership making the AMR threats and trying to scare the EMT's into not joining the lawsuit! I guess there is just as much room under Berardi's desk as there was under Smokey's. Sound familiar? And here we thought the Louie Wright era was over....HAHA!

    1. Its a class action lawsuit, it effects everyone that has worked a 24 hour ambulance since the merger, it doesn't matter if a person has joined the lawsuit or not.

  10. Well the lawsuit is good example of how piss poor the fire dept in KC is being ran.

    1. This has nothing to do with the fire department and everything to do with the city trying to screw the former mast people

  11. 8:34 you are RIGHT you do run this city...straight into the GROUND!! You should be such proud hero's.

    ReplyDelete
  12. 8:37 Are you that stupid? Who gives a shit about the past, this is the present and presently money controls shit,as well as politicians who will do and say anything to keep their jobs, so yes AMR or any other private contractor that can do things cheap does stand a chance for the ambulance service in KC once the politicians cant spin their mistake of integrating the ambulance into the fire service and when the TRUTH of how much money this merger didn't save the taxpayers comes to light it will all make sense.....just wait and see. Here is a fact from the past for those of you who are stuck on it.. John Sharp almost bankrupted MAST I am curious how he is now a so called city leader.

  13. Oh yeah, they have to join the lawsuit, but will happen is the people who want to stand up for what is right will join in, then the ruling will come down and the people who signed on will get paid, then a few months later the city will send a check to every person who was eligible and did not join, they can cash that check as soon as they sign a little piece of paper that says "I won't launch my own lawsuit"

  14. Given how real wages have deflated all over the country, and when people get laid off from one job, only to take another at lesser salary, and home prices are lower, and so many goods are now cheaper at Walmart because the're made overseas, you should expect UNION PEOPLE to be eased out of their contracts and rehired at deflated wages.

Energy prices have remained fairly stable, up a little, down a little. For now, until the war comes in Iran.

Food and packaging prices are the problem, as well as runaway health costs.

Those affect lower and middle class who will simply have to eat smarter and quit wasting so much food.

And get healthier...and start paying more when we and our doctors try to gouge our insurance companies for services we don't really need.

That could have been solved had the Republicans been willing to work with Dems on Obamacare, but they didn't so that will have to wait.

And vote Democrat because you can't expect the republicans to control price gouging and excessive executive salaries, and shipping our good jobs overseas.

Ain't perfect.... but don't expect everyone in AMerica to always get a raise...it's not going to happen when most of the world will do our jobs for $2 an hour! We've priced outselves out of the world marketplace.

  15. How about people just quit bitching and do a HONEST days work for what ever pay in the job they agreed to do? Unions need to go!

    1. Thank you, now pass this on to the scabs on this lawsuit.
Get your money, and get your pink slip .... PLEASE

    2. Your ged program didn't teach you the true meaning of scab? When union brothers and sisters fight for fair and legal wages, those who stand in their way are the scabs.

  16. 9:28 Are you f-ing kidding me?? This has EVERYTHING to do with the fire department! This lawsuit will put KCFD under the national spotlight and they will be known as one of the most mismanaged, fraudulent, incompetent departments in the country. Be proud, heroes. Best case scenario would be for Sly to hire a chief from some other city who actually knows how to run a department and cleans this debacle up.

    ReplyDelete
  17. is it not the job of a union to protect the workers and insure that the employer is following all labor laws? The members of Local 42 should be ashamed that they are not in support of this lawsuit.

    ReplyDelete
  18. scabs? Hey fucktards....Local 42 President Michael Cambiano withdrew the motion to intervene that Louie filed. Why? Because he knows the city will lose and he is supporting the EMT's.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Cambiano is UNION through and through, how else would he have gotten the job? How did Louie get the job?, how did the union sheeples like Dave Hutton proclaim total bliss from a failed merger? Spin is a bitch!

  20. 9:45 I get it...too bad Americans couldnt step up at the polls...now who are you going to blame? i hate walmart too, I hate standing in line for 45 minuets to buy a china made product, but this US greedy government giveSZ me no choice because I have to survive and support my family. Family comes first so if I have to shop what I can afford, dictated by my government, I WILL SO FUCK YOU!~

    ReplyDelete
  21. 9:45 could be if the union lazy people were not so greedy you could afford too shop at a real American company, and support the businesses they claim to support.

    ReplyDelete
  22. My prediction.... the city will be paying some big time cash out on this. How will the city ever afford to give millions in tax breaks to big business now?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Of course the city will be able to continue to give out business tax breaks. That's actually why the KCMO city government EXISTS.
And remember all those promises about longer hours in community centers, more miles of streets being repaired, and Sly on his bulldozer starting the big demolition of dangerous buildings? Remember all the extra money taxpayers just approved for parks and other specific services?
    Thanks for playing!
    HAHAhahahahahaha!

    1. Looks like they'll get what they want. They could have quit if they didn't approve of the merger, but they saw a payday on the horizon. I hope they get every penny " OWED " to them. And as they're walking out the bank....... BAM, hit by a truck!!!!! Darn, two more worthless people gone from the job

  25. These people you are referring to as "scabs" are your union brothers and sisters (Local 42 I believe). What a union, I wish I could be part of all that love and benefits. What a typical move by the unions to refer to people in their union to stand up for what they believe is their right under federal law...damn them, damn them all to hell for wanting their fair share. And for 2:42am, i guess a quick check on google would have taught you that a scab is a Scab, a strikebreaker, a person who works despite strike action or against the will of other employees. There is no strike occurring and these are union people so maybe your GED is a bit outdated.

  26. 1047, read the comments on your phone. 2:42 was replying to another comment where someone said someone was a scab. In the mobile view, you can see directly when a comment has a reply to it. On the computer, you can't see since it is just one big comment. That's why some times the comments have no context.

  27. No one agreed to work 99 hours a pay period without overtime. Yet another in a long list of surprises brought about by the merger. Big boy fireman is just pissed because two women are smart enough to try to make the city play fair. He has to try to discredit them by lies. EMS is not fire suppression and are supposed to be paid overtime for anything over 40 hours a week. Nothing against firemen but it is only fair that the city follow federal laws. Fire boy, if you are so pissed, why don't you transfer to an ambulance? Oh, because you are mentally challenged and don't know how to be. A REAL EMT.
