TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SUNDAY SPECIAL!!! KANSAS CITY INSIDER SAYS: MAINSTREAM MEDIA IGNORES REPORTS OF P&L DISTRICT VIOLENCE!!!

It was a wild weekend in Kansas City and we're still adding up to shooting totals.
More to the point . . .
CHECK OUT THIS KANSAS CITY INSIDER REPORT OF INCREASING VIOLENCE THAT REMAINS UNREPORTED IN AND AROUND THE P&L DISTRICT!!!
Check it:
"After reading the stories about the triple shooting outside Luna last night, which one of the people shot was related to the officer-involved shooting, the media is not reporting another incident that happened in the area. About two minutes before the Luna shooting, a female was shot in the parking garage behind your favorite P&L District Grocery store. She wasn't seriously injured from what I have heard. Just another case of the media playing favorites with Cordish and the lack of reporting dangerous incidents and violence directly inside the P&L district."
Read the media shooting reports closely and you'll see an acknowledgements of this incident but buried behind the police shooting.
A SPECIAL THANKS TO TKC TIPSTERS FOR GIVING THEIR TESTIMONY REGARDING KANSAS CITY'S INCREASINGLY DANGEROUS P&L DISTRICT!!!
Developing . . .
dangerous situation.
ReplyDeleteMaybe before accusing the media of motives for not covering a minor shooting, you should investigate how the media GETS cop stories.
ReplyDeleteFact is, other than occasional random phone tips from the public, if KC cops don't TELL the media about stories, there's no way they'll find out about them.
The police department is not required to contact the media/ civilians every time something occurs in this city. Good reporters are supposed to investigate and relay the information to you retards. Unfortunately the newspaper and other media outlets are corrupt, except TKC!!!!!!
Delete5:00, What a jack ass! The media has scanners capable of listening in on police traffic. They beat the cops to the calls a lot of times. If they aren't reporting it, it's not because they don't know, it's because they don't want too. They also pay chuckleheads to send them bullshit cellphone videos from scenes. Plug that into your conspiracy theory!
DeleteFact is, local media has access to the scanners where they monitor police calls. You REALLY think media waits to be told about crimes in KC?????
ReplyDeleteMaybe some of us "media" were actually at home, writing. Luna on a Saturday night is fkn amateur hour anyway. #sameolshit
ReplyDeleteAs long as no one speaks out publicaly abou this kind of behavior, it's just going to get worse and worse. Not a peep from the usual east side leaders.
ReplyDeleteAnd certainly nothing said by the cowards in the political and business communities. Wouldn't want to be accused of profiling or worse.
And it's only a matter of time before some police officer gets hurt. Isn't there ANYONE who has the guts to do what has to be done and roll some of these thugs up?
5:18, Scanners my ass. Maybe the crime scene tape and multiple police cars prhobiting people from getting their cars out of the parking garage to go home at bar close on a Saturday night might stir up some questions
ReplyDeleteYeah you're right, the media spends millions of $'s on technology, loads it into a van and then drives around aimlessly, or parks somewhere hoping some concerned citizen will tell them where the news is because they couldn't affford or weren't smart enough to buy scanners!!!!!! What a fucking idiot!!
DeleteReporting crime and violence downtown runs directly counter to the Star's desperate attempt to continue to make believe that it's coming back and once again will be the center of the metro universe. No chance of that, of course. Just like the Star.
ReplyDeleteThis town is insane. Kc would rather burn than tell the truth about the thhugs who are destroying our city.
ReplyDeleteYep.
ReplyDeleteIt's not thugs. It's not even black people. It's niggers! Sure it's an awful word but it's the most appropriate word I know of to describe the behavior of this "set" of individuals.
ReplyDeleteYou think "shots fired" coming over a scanner set to the same frequency as the police radios wouldn't clue them in that something was amiss in our beautiful downtown? There is much more going on in the P&L district than the public knows about and this has been true for several years.
ReplyDeleteI thought the public saftey sales tax was gonna digitize this shit not tear down the ghetto...
ReplyDeletemedia people listen to scanners and chase down calls all the time. im sure they heard it and went and just didnt report it. they can also call pd dispatch and get updates on major situations to brief the public on things, in the p&l case they just chose not to, big surpise there. its the media failing to report, period.
ReplyDeletenever sell me a downtown condo, never
ReplyDeleteThis has been going on for some time and it doesn't get reported because Cordish does everything it can to keep the newsies in the dark.
