A LOOK AROUND KANSAS CITY NEIGHBORHOODS WILL REVEAL PRESIDENT OBAMA YARD SIGN DOMINATION!!!
What we're hearing is that the GOTV drive is kicking into high hear for November and surprisingly (and unofficially) there seems to be just as many volunteers for 2012 as there were for 2008.
And really, I have yet to see a single Romney sign anywhere in Midtown Kansas City. Seriously, anybody see one, send it in . . . There's not much yard sign support for The GOP Prez candidate, not even on Ward Parkway which is weird.

ReplyDeleteForget midtown, which is no surprise. I was driving down 71st street in Prairie Village yesterday and there are Obama signs all over that lily white neighborhood. A few Romney/Ryan but the Obama signs far outnumbered them.

They have chosen to spend their cash on collateral elsewhere, as the Mitt For President folks know that Mitt will win MO by 10 points.. The signs and bumper stickers are cute as shit, but they don't win elections, and could be put to better use in an actual swing state.

ReplyDeleteSEPTEMBER 18--A Florida farmhand arrested for having sexual contact with a miniature donkey explained to cops that the Sunshine State was “backwards” since its residents “frown on zoophilia,” according to a police report.
Carlos Romero, 31, was collared yesterday and charged with misdemeanor sexual activity with an animal.
Investigators report that a witness last month spotted Romero, pictured in the mug shot at right, “up against the rear of the donkey” apparently having sex with the animal.
Romero--who was shirtless and had his pants down--pulled away from the donkey when he spotted the witness, who had been delivering a horse to the barn he rents.
When interviewed Friday by cops, Romero made a series of shocking admissions.
He began by saying that he “uses his fingers and saliva to clean the donkey’s clitoris and check for wood shavings and debris,” adding that he “gets aroused” by seeing an animal in heat.
Romero reported that he “stands behind the donkey, scratches her withers and masturbates.” He revealed that he “likes the way the fur feels on his testicles,” and that his penis “may have come in contact with the donkey’s vagina by accident and his semen may have splattered inside the donkey by accident."
After recalling that he masturbated with the donkey “5 or 6 times,” Romero “stated Florida is a backwards state and people frown on zoophilia here.”
Romero is being held in the Marion County jail in lieu of $2000 bond. (2 pages)
...because KCMO neighborhoods are dominated by non-taxable income families. If I were to make an argument why to vote for someone...claiming a majority of KCMO prefer a candidate may be the last point I would make to an intelligent person.

Urban KC is Democrat, diverse, and the only part of this town with any kind of culture character or economic import. The suburbs and exurbs would literally not exist without the River-75th street corridor. There are no business that would move to OP without KCMO next door. There are no homes that would be built in the Northland without KCMO next door, there is no subdivision in Lee's Summit that would get built without KCMO next door. There would be no highways, no airport, no infrastructure no tourism, no museums, art, pro sports, nightlife, interesting architecture, or anything else worth living in or near.
The suburbs of this and every other city are literally beholden to their cores, and if the white-flighters are allowed to wreck them, their cheap cul-de-sacs houses and stripmalls would wither away and die.

ReplyDeleteYou can go on saying that 'till the cows some home, but the fact is unemployment was at least 25% the last time the Republicans left Democrats with a depression to clean up. Odds are it would have been higher this time without intervention, and it may well have been under 8% if the ossified Republicans in Congress had cooperated a tad.
Romney, by the way, is toast, so I look forward to four more years of moronic posts from you and your little penis.
