The Star's Steve Kraske covers the latest polling data from last week and offers a SHOCKINGLY milquetoast perspective: "Obama's got it in the bag, right? Not so fast."

Gallup has always skewed Republican. In addition, they had to expand the number of "swing" states to 12 in order to include some Republican leaners that are now close.
ReplyDeleteKraske was just coming up to deadline and needed something to write about. Which is true most weeks.
The real story is that both Scott Brown and Claire McCaskill are running as moderates and they are both in trouble. People want to make a choice this time.
Oh, Kraske may be right. If they can keep the dummy from getting out without his ventriloquist and if he doesn't drool too much in the debates, he still has a chance.
ReplyDeleteOh McCaskill will win in Missouri. Kraske's problem is that he looks at the pres race from MISSOURI.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's possible for Romney to stop making gaffes....and I think he'll look horrible in the debates. Moreover, they won't turn it around for him. He doens't have it IN him. Even Ann's falling apart. And too many Republicans are stepping away from him. I think the Republicans know they screwed up and will just try to save the Senate.
Is it too early to start using the word "LANDSLIDE"?
A little too soon, Mr. Kraske! The voters will decide.
ReplyDeleteIs it true that Ann Romney actually said in the early days of their marriage they were so poor they almost had to sell some of their stock?
ReplyDeleteThe Republicans must have a super bomb to drop at the last minute because they really can't be thinking the campaign ended with the Republican Debates. Since then the election battle had been about as exciting as the revival of the Kansas City fake assed roller derby team. Surely Romney can shake his Morman missionary suit and get on his fighting britches. This is the most lack luster election year I can remember. Too bad the whole damn future of the world is on the line!
ReplyDeleteCould have conveyed the same message and been just as trite by shortening this column to: "Presidential election is still anybody's ball game."
ReplyDeleteOr maybe- I'm the Star's incompetent political columnist Steve Kraske here to prove I know nothing about independent thinking or insightful political analysis.
ReplyDeleteHow;s that Hopey Changie thing workin for ya...
ReplyDeleteIf Obama wins he can always say he didn't know it was this bad and it's the previous administration's fault. This would be the first truthful words he's spoken.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to say that The President will be re-elected. So far, 8:07 its working well. When we vote the Tea Party out, we can pass some jobs bills.
ReplyDeleteLets vote them all out and start with a three party system. that way it will always take two working together to get a majority. Damn what a concept. Politicians actually working together instead of working over their constituents. Frankly no one party deserves to be running anything in this country.
ReplyDeleteA vote for obama is a vote wasted on a communist.
ReplyDeleteDid everyone see the new US flag? The one with obama's face replacing the blue star field. Nice.
