If I take something that belongs to someone else, it's called stealing. When the police do it, it's called, uh, I don't know.
ReplyDeleteThe owner may have a legal disability that makes it unlawful for her to possess a firearm.
ReplyDeleteIf not, she simply needs to serve the city government with a replevin order. They will then be forced to appear in District Court to defend their refusal to return her property.
My guess is that they will simply return it before the hearing.
