KANSAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL SELL-OFF!!!

A bit of news about the blighting influence of the Kansas City Public School District . . .

This follows the 30 building shutdown in 2009 . . . Click the KC Biz Journal Link For The List: Kansas City Public Schools has put five more vacant buildings on the market.

Dumping these buildings on a fragile Kansas City real estate market might not be an easy sell. And sadly, so many development schemes for these structures haven't done much to improve struggling local neighborhoods.

And let's not forget about the asbestos that remains in some of these buildings that nobody wants to talk about . . .

To wit . . . There will be more empty buildings in Kansas City up for sale but not many buyers who don't have fed funding scheme up their sleeve.
