A bit of encouragement and historical perspective on voting rights given abysmal Kansas City turnout:

Vimeo Description:

"Kansas City clergy leaders provide insight on why voting is important to them as religious leaders and also significant within the context of each of their religious organizations."

Look for local political activist Rev. Wallace Hartsfield, Sr. in this clip put together by Kansas City's CCO

  10. Voting is our most fundamental right. No one has to prove they have the right to vote. This is just the Tea Party's war on African Americans.

Agree. Anything goes in that part of town. Prayer vigil for this and that... slick preacher here and then there. Crooks in the pulpit and the removal thereof. That's a movement I can support.

  14. Firehose in Alabama (in 2012?) I don't want to get involved in politics? Can they speak a full sentence with any clarity? These dinosours are incredible. Place them in a museum. Virtually every speaker is over 70 years old. Let this voter ID crap go! It is not that serious. This more about money than it is about people's right to vote.
