There are over 1000 dangerous buldings in KCMO and thousands more that are abandoned and becoming more dangerous every day. Is tearing down 150 of them a good start? Yes, but as usual, no one is going to follow up to see what actually happens and this is way too boring an issue to get any attention from any of the electeds, especailly Sly.
ReplyDeleteAnd some of that "designated" money will sit there and someone will come along with the next Big Idea and tearing down dangerous buildings will suddenly become unfunded.
