As for the question of "what will happEN to the promises and incentives"? Nothing. Never does.
ReplyDeleteButler didn't just cut jobs, they were acquired by an Australian company and basically left town after the taxpayers bult them a brand new garage.
No one at either city hall or the eco devo offices pays any attention to what actually happens after these big announcements and there's no accountability. These deals are strictly a one-way street.
So hope for an invitation to the next ribbon-cutting (don't hold your breath) and pony up!

ReplyDeleteWhere is the outrage? People piss their collective pants over what the CEO of Chick-Fil-A says even though it does not affect the run of the individual restraunts. I am sure the brain trust who run Applebees are pro gay marriage and yet they hurt more people than Chick-Fil-A did. Any of you brainiac bleeding hearts want to explain to me why no outrage at Applebees?
