Interesting item that reveals ongoing controversy in the KCPD . . .
Kansas City police are investigating a detective's use of an official undercover vehicle, including a Florida vacation where he was caught running a red light.
Star picked it up yesterday: KC police investigate detective’s Florida trip in department car
This is big news but it's kind of old news to AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS . . .
TKC TIPSTERS PUT THE FLORIDA TRIP ON BLAST BACK ON JULY 4TH!!!
Certainly, we hope that things are running more smoothly in the KCPD given the slight decrease in local homicides and given that, administratively, there has been a great deal of conflict within the Dept. lately.
DEVELOPING . . .
whatever
ReplyDeletereally, don't you get tired of promoting yourself?
and mushroom clouds
ReplyDeletedon't you get tired of them and that metaphor, too?
geez
I didn't know they had a Capital Grille in Florida?
ReplyDeleteGood News.
Goes to show you how out of touch the corporate media is with what is going on. This thing broke six weeks ago and it is just know front page news with the Red Star? Precisely why I quit taking that liberal rag a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteThe ticket included a photo showing the vehicle pulling a trailer hundreds of miles from Kansas City.
ReplyDeletePolice department policy restricts the vehicle's use to within 50 miles of the city.
LOL Who keeps track of Police Cars?
Like NO ONE noticed it was missing?!
LOL Just another KCPD scandal AND Cover-Up !
Another LAW Breaking KCPD Officer.
ReplyDeleteNot to worry; the crack Police Board is on top of this. Just like they ordered the commanders who had the expensive dinners to reimburse the taxpayers, and then had to write checks back to the cops because there wasn't a policy to prohibit what they had done.
ReplyDeleteThe BOPC don't have the faintest clue what's going on administratively and even less of an idea of what's happening, or not, in the field.
In fact, one of them recently said that the BOPC really didn't have oversight of the KCPD, the mayor and council did.
Doesn't get much more clueless than that.
Be safe in KCMO!
Its all good until u get busted......
ReplyDeleteNo point in calling KCPD.
ReplyDeleteWhy call crooks to a crime scene?
Well all you red light camera haters see they really do have a good use other than busting you for runnning a rewd light.
ReplyDeleteSee they come in real handy for busting crooked cops.
The command staff won't make too much of a stink because they do shit just as shady with their vehicles. They'll make enough noise to be perceived as "concerned" and then let the issue fade away.
ReplyDeleteFraud unit guy!
ReplyDeleteHey who is better to look into fraud crimes other than a fraud committing cop?
ReplyDeleteKCPD is the biggest joke in Kansas City. Everybody knows what a bunch lying, crooked, bunch of scum bags they are.
ReplyDeleteAll of them?
Deleteand yet they still get more work done than firefighters.
ReplyDelete454 is spot on. Like the captain who put over 50,000 miles on his take home car in one year. He has essentially a desk job with no call out responsibilities. Forte doesn't tolerate that shit unless it is a commander or minority officer.
ReplyDeleteYou theivin mother fucker...use my tax payer funded car and gas and you retire.

ReplyDeleteHey Ray, two words, Spell check
ReplyDeletewater balloons from a moving helicopter..... that's fucking hilarious..... I would have loved to been able to film that.....
ReplyDeleteWell said 5:56 PM!
ReplyDeleteJust plain stupid. Did it ever occur to him while he was tooling through the mountains of Tennessee on his way to the sunshine state that maybe this wasn't a good idea? Doubt it, too stupid or arrogant.
ReplyDeleteDid that dom som bitch get fired yet?
ReplyDeleteBullshit! Like no one had a clue a city vehicle was missing while this guy was parading around out of state? Lift the carpet folks. We are gonna sweep.
