A hopeful, peaceful and rather optimistic bit of Kansas city legislation recently stalled. Thanks to AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS for bringing our attention to this bit of legislation :
" ORDINANCE NO. 120655 - Calling an election on November 6, 2012, for the purpose of submitting an ordinance proposed by initiative to prevent the City’s future financial involvement in nuclear weapons components facilities; directing the City Clerk to provide notice of the election; and recognizing an emergency."
Today the P&Z Committee put it a Hold On Agenda until (8/15/2012) . . . Which pretty much makes it dead on arrival and confirms that the so-called "culture of death" is a lot bigger than petty complaints about some genres of hip-hop music.
DEVELOPING . . .
dirty hippies.
ReplyDeletethey're still on this?
ReplyDeleteshut it.
ReplyDeleteNow the anti-anti's are resorting to subterfuge and other nefarious methods, to get their wimpy-assed message across. Enough is enough assholes. Go back to California and worry them about some extinct frog or toad. Leave KC alone!
ReplyDeleteIf I were KC I'd be begging a nuke plant to come to town....sheesh! Unlike the casinos the no-smoking ordinance should apply....
